I’m way too proud of myself for figuring this out before someone told me about it 😂 Ifs the little things right? The real reason I started doing it was to keep that slimy mildew layer from building up inside the bladder so quickly. It will still show up, but you can clean it less often that way. Keeps the water tasting fresh longer. This really only applies if you use it every day like I used to. Kept a day pack with a 2 liter bladder on the job site while I worked construction.
I never have that issue because I don't use bladders. I go old school with canteens. A 2qt on my pack and a 1qt with canteen cup, lid, canteen stove and water tabs on my belt.
@@trevorlaporte5951 Probably because youtube stopped being profitable almost a decade ago, and the search is heavily biased towards channels working with RUclips's messaging, because RUclips actually costs Alphabet corp money, they only keep this site up as a propaganda platform since traditional media like television has been on a constant decline, so youtube caters a lot of income/favors (like for Alphabet corps international projects) from political groups and foreign governments. ITS website has been consistently active, and I bet they are making most of their money from shop sales.
My bladder has a bleed valve specifically for this purpose built into the lid. Research leads to great products
Please mention the product name also
Thanks for the tip. I’ll Be sure to use it in the future.
