For those of you who would like to build your own you can use any SPC like the Raspberry Pi, Rock Pi, Banana Pi, or the Orange Pi like I did, it's just a lot more powerful with eight cores then the Raspberry Pi 5.
Stay tuned guys and if you missed any of the prior videos of this build make sure to check them out there's lots of good info in there.

In this scenario, does the amount of RAM matter on the sbc?

i know a supercomputer , an actual one wich was replicated back in the day in several US universities used 500 playstations 3. so if you got the right software and build.... thing is , can 125 raspberry processors instead of let's say 125 modern gaming pc inter or amd processors became a supercomputer? not sure about that. and the other thing, what about the instruction set? a couple of 10 graphic cards, let's say 3060 could have the same performance in terms of tensor core processors and calculations.
im not making a bad critic here, im just doing some numbers. if raspberry is very cheap and you can actually harness a complete architechture with so many processors in tandem and you know how to make the software you would , not sure about a super computer, but a REALLY F*** POWERFUL mining rig for a very good cost!
so do please let us know what you are cooking, i find this super interesting, i hope you can achieve it, and if you do, please share the software and the build schemes! that's just asking in the name of the community . i know that if you figurite out it is for you, and you can get money out of it, but in the name of open source software im asking being humble.
i really, really want you to achieve this. not only for money purposes , but because as a programmer and lover of blockchain technology, it would be awesome for a common person to get to such high level of value and hardware design. my best wishes Sir!

As you can tell I'm super excited about the build but yes I know it's not a real super computer but if other RUclipsrs can take 6 or 10 pi and call that a super computer I thought it was more than fair. What you're seeing is only one of five that would fit in a u45 server rack. If I were to completely build the rack out which I may do eventually, it would be 5000 CPU cores with battery backup or I could do six without battery backup. We're playing on using it for Mining and also some AI testing.

@@TheBitcoinMiner well if you plan for that i could tell you right away you could rent the rig for AI services, that's an option. second, you could offer your services for renders or AI power machine renting directly on ebay or amazon? not sure , perhaps there are specific sites
yeah may not be a supercomputer but if you pull it off, but MAINLY and this is the important stuff, if you do it truly multicore let's you do a prototype with golang (altought im not pretty sure, it could prove slow) or take the time to do some truly multi core use in the software...OH MAN WHAT A PIECE OF MINER YOU WOULD HAVE!!!) i pretty much sure the main challenge is to code the miner software to profit over that hardware archicture of yours. and let me tell you im pretty excited too if you pull this off, or worst case scenario if you dont, the amount of knowledge you gain, would be INVALUABLE!
so im rooting for you. it is a shame i cannot afford to offer you my help as a coder because in my country the economic situation is quite f^^^up but if you are not a coder yourself get in touch with someone or some group. as a programmer i can tell you for sure someone may want and have the time to help you with that.
anyway, do please share any advancement, be it good or bad, and well....bad? nothing would be bad. it would be just more knowledge.
i do sincerely wish you success on this. bellieve me, it is super interesting!
      regards friend!

but, what it is used for?

    • @TheBitcoinMiner

It enables parallel processing which can perform a lot of different tasks from multiple different forms of information at the same time. For example, this is especially important in vision, when you see a bus coming towards you, you see its color, shape, depth, and motion all at once. or making a passive income mining cryptocurrencies like Verus.

I think the plan is to use them to mine Verus coin. The Orange Pi 5's are really efficient and reasonably price. Plus, they last longer than cell phones.
