I couldn't find how to set custom amount (This Bot will convert 100% of one asset into the other asset using Buy/Sell Market orders). Where can I set this parameter?
I have created my training strategy and I backtest it and it works as I was t. It set stop losses at each entry as well and the exits are when a new signal is generated. So can this work with the method you are explaining? Meaning set stop loss orders as well and then then close all positions before entering a new trade and so on. All that logic is set on my trading strategy already. Would the method you are teaching work ? Or it only accept BuY and Sell orders and that is it
Yes it will work in about 1 week from now when we launch the "order size" feature. Then SIGNUM will respect the order sized and stop loss sizes you are executing. You can then choose to send them in absolute numbers or in percentages in which case SIGNUM calculates the order size for your based on your actual funds on the account. For absolute numbers you need to set your TV Strategy to send the exact numbers you want (a bit of a pain for most people but if you want to do it, you can). Does this help?
Which limitation are you referring to? If you mean "wen shorting", I can say "in a couple of months". It's just not our main focus because I'm the "trend following guy" and when using such strategies, shorting should not be automated anyhow. But ok, I respect user requests and we will add shorting as well soon. I just want to make sure it's easy as possible to use for anybody using SIGNUM, not just pros :)
is there a reason why only crypto exchanges are into this kind of automate tradign systems? if I wwanted to automate trading on stuff like Etoro for example is there a way?
TradFi usually does not allow retail to do that. God forbid you are as fast as the hedge funds to buy or sell your potions. I don’t automate stocks etc. at all. If you live in the EU it should work with Interactive Brokers. But I never tried myself. Also: I’m a crypto channel and I specialize on our market. That’s also why I can’t show you how to automate stocks. Sorry for that.
