    Your narrow boat is coming along a treat, very impressed with your craftsmanship, looking forward to seeing the finished boat and you both enjoying it, you should be proud of yourselves with all that you have done and achieved

    SUPER JOB! that was always my favorite part, the finishing wood work. Great job from the "supervisor" too, lol. sounds like my wife and I when "we remodel" lol

    Grandad your solution solving is second to none, having been in construction for 45 year, am amazed by how you get over issues. Plus having a clerk of works watching over your shoulder brings a smile you my face every time. Great team.

    You know on all of these hatches, windows and Port Holes, you have both done such a professional job and you should be so proud to show them off when you have people on board. I love working with wood but its not easy to do what you have done and produce the quality you have achieved. I am really impressed.

    Astonishing team work. My other half and I would have reached the Winston Churchill and Nancy Astor stage by now. (Nancy: "Winston, if I were married to you I would put poison in your tea." Winston: "Nancy, if I were married to you, I would drink it")

      Cheers, 🤣🤣🤣yeah but you haven't seen us when the camera stops rolling. We have our moments but overall we have got this far ok. If Ady goes quiet you will know he has got the right ump with me. I just add a bit of music at that point 🤣

    It looks really great, another fine example of what a skilled worker can achieve when there's an even better foreman behind him. I love the speed that Grandad works, I assume that it was all filmed in real time! Well done the pair of you.

      Cheers Tony, haha yes it takes us a while but we get there in the end. 4 eyes are definitely better than 2 at this stage 🤣. Hey it would be good if we could work at that speed eh 👍

    When is launch day guys? Any idea the finished spend yet?
    Was talking to Pete about a build at the Marina a little while ago, just need to get the finances in order! Good idea getting a container there too!

    • @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg
      @makinganarrowboatwithnannyandg  Год назад

      Not got a date yet Martyn, We just keep going and when it starts looking like we are nearing the end we will book the move in and can then start saving to pay for the licence, moving etc at the moment our money each month is still paying for materials. Shouldn't be much longer. Once we are on the water and relaxed I will add up the build cost. We have 2 large boxes of receipts to sift through. Oh thats great to hear you might go with Pete. If you do and want a container get your name down on the waiting list as soon as you can. We waited a long time for one to become empty 👍
