Wei Ying gave himself away a bit too. When he saw that Lan Zhan got pissed about what the kids were saying and tried to stop him from scolding them and grabbed LZ's shoulder. It's a nice reversal on how Lan Zhan grabbed Wei Ying's shoulder when he tried to calm him down.
There are some moments where I want to hug Jin Ling… and other moments where I want to Gibbs smack him. (If anyone knows what I’m referencing, I love you.)
And then it turns out that neither Wei Ying, nor Wen Ning wanted to kill his parents. It was all a clever trap to frame them. JinLing had a murderous look on his face when JGY spilled the beans at the Gunyian temple. Also, imagine Jinag Cheng realising he hated Wei Ying for noththing for years and that he gave up the essence of typical cultivation to save his a**. Jiang Cheng really needed to learn how emotions and letting them go work.
