This is just incredible. To think that so much time and effort goes into 3d models like these is mind boggling, although I can’t even imagine going of half of this myself ;)
@@apollonirfajrproductionsecond That's true, but I was thinking more for where you should draw the line between the two when designing the two. Disney for instance, they're characters tend to be realistic, but only to a certain degree that matches their animated world

Incredible work! As a learner it's very cool to see the process the come to this kind of result I've read the description, don't be too hard with yourself!
You can clearly set the price of your model a lot higher, some companies don't hesitate to sell their models for hundred of dollars and people buy it. So you can be more expansive. Great work !!
I agree. He could easily set this base price at $100 like the very least. However, I also think given the price, maybe he did it to help a wider audience(hobby/indie/small studio etc) have access to high quality models without breaking there budget or looking cheap. So I respect it!
May I ask, as a retrospective, what criticism would you give to yourself now? You mentioned that this project did not satisfy you, and I was curious as to what part of the process frustrated you
i would say the biggest thing with this project was knowing when to stop. i kept trying to improve the final animations with the forest scene when i couldve just completed it with a much simpler scene.

You did so a amazing job at modelling, sculpting and texturing. But for me personally the fur from blender look's so bad. Just imagine what youve could do with programs like maya.
I've followed other tutorials where they only use the resmesh feature to do an initial block out, how come you didn't use a multi resolution modifier after your initial block out? what was the benefit of doing the whole thing with remesh?
the "idfk" in the texture nodes was hilarious lol - also amazing topology, I can see why that took as long as it did.
Can you give me a timestamp of when it says ”idfk”?

it's really boring to make a model in blender for me
I'm just wondering; what draws the line between realism of a character/animal and it's semi-realistic alternative?
Semi is a bit more cartoonish than realism @@JosiahFickinger

how would you do the hair simulation? like isn't already edited the particle system and so it can't be modified then?

you know it’s good when the comments aren’t all shitting on the electronic music lol. I’ve always thought it was an inevitability tbh.

The video moves so fast that I slowed the playback speed to 0.25, and now it sounds creepy. Great vid!
