I use the Taliah Waajid curly curl cream as my “cream slick back” lol! That has my hair sleek for days without making it hard or flaky. I’m in the military so I need it to be slick but I’m going try this product cause it seems to be similar as I like to have products like the TW in my arsenal. Thanks for sharing love ❤️

Thoughts: I actually liked your edges more before you added the black gel. They looked like line art or calligraphy. It was pretty sweet. They were still gorgeous afterwards though.
Another question. Does it flake?
I just used this product and must say, it's bomb!
It took a full day for my hair to dry (however, I did my ponytail on pretty wet hair, not towel dry, so that could've been a reason why it took so long).
So far I'm on day 3 and it's still slick, looks like I'll be able to get to day 5 in honesty.
No frizz and still no flaking AT ALL

Yeah I was at a Jack Daniel's party in January and I stopped at the Afro Sheen booth. I was like AFRO SHEEN? They were like yes, we both laughed and they gave me a sample bag full of treats. So yes they are back. It's still black owned. And I am here for them. Afro sheen was a huge part of my childhood in Chicago so yeah, I am stoked about supporting their products. Yes I love the afrosheen cream styler it works wonders I use it at least a few times and it keeps my hair sleek especially when I am at work and it holds off in the gel I usually use Creme of nature snot gel but not this time around I love that styler. Thanks for sharing.

I bought it, and I use it on my two jumbo twists and a little leave out in the back. My hair looks sleek when I use it. It also helped hold my curls. I use it as the styler after my lco method. Haven’t tried it with a ponytail yet. I do have a good feeling about it though after seeing how well it held my curls, and kept the curl pattern the next day with no frizz.

How long does the hold last?
@@dadyzheart92 hello. I don't refresh my hair and I do it every week. The hold did soften at some point and was pretty soften but still some hold by my next wash day.
