@starviper1646 yeah I haven't watched it in a couple years myself. Which is sad because I've been watching it since the Tom Baker Era in the 70's. I've been thinking about trying it again.
@@IguanaMom If your rating the show during its golden age which was during the 00s. I think it deserves to be on this list for that. But I recommend not watching more recent seasons they have not been good and even the new specials were quite bad as well.
They missed a couple of good ones - The Crown, Dexter, The Tudors, older ones Saved By The Bell, Melrose Place, Different Strokes, Family Ties, Home Improvement, Full House, Alf
These lists always pizz me off. 😂. South Park was the most ridiculous. BoJack has absolutely no business even sniffing this list. The Wire and The Sopranos are my top 2. Then Seinfeld but I’m a huge fanboy.
As a Londoner I don't know some of the shows. Hill Street Blues was groundbreaking, way better than NYPD Blue imo. I loved Taxi and Happy Days but neither have aged well.Roots was great. South Park is still amazing, Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad is brilliant writing. My favourite of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Really enjoyed seeing your reaction to the list. That's exactly how I am with these kinds of lists.
Peaky Blinders The Boys The OC Normal People Shameless Dexter Band of Brothers Family Matters Schitt’s Creek Veronica Mars Saved by the Bell A Different World Misfits … any of those could have replaced… Angels in America The Comeback The Leftovers BoJack Horseman The Larry Sanders Show Enlightened
Murder She Wrote Murdoch Mysteries Castle Bones Unsolved Mysteries Frasier Quantum Leap(the original) Night Court (the original) Mom Family Ties Perfect Strangers Burn Notice Home Improvement
most of these are american shows, doubt they really considered shows from any other country, unless the tv show was such a phenomenon that it would have been impossible to ignore and leave out
Fun seeing your reactions. I was surprised ER wasn’t on the list. If you liked NYPD Blue then you would love Hill Street, do yourself a favor sometime and catch the first few episodes. Monster good.
Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes was influential animation The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson was pretty interesting. I’d like to see a list broken down by genre.
Lucy and Desi made tv the way it is today. They were the first to broadcast re-runs and they made the money they earned not the network. They made it so they owned the film they filmed so when they wanted to rerun a season during the off season they are the ones that got paid for it. They made tv what it is today so i get why it is #1 in historical means. I think if we started at 1, i may have understood the reasoning behind some of their choices... however not all of them! South park and the Simpsons should have been way higher! I am glad they snuck Mr. Rodgers neighborhood in there. I dont think they will every make anyone/everyone 100% happy with a list like this! We would need more reasoning for the decisions made. Is it historical or just viewing enjoyment etc.? Cultural impact seems to be what they were going for but i think some of these got their numbers bought $$ into the countdown or higher in the countdown than some should be... but that is just another opinion (mine). great vid. Nice way to end the year!
NYPD Blue, Law & Order SVU, yes, Conan, Haha...The Monkees! they were their time. Original Star Trek?!?! The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, I Dream of Jeannie (at the time).
I think a lot of the shows that were really good at some point were probably tarnished by being on for longer than they should have and not being consistent with the writing quality, that would be the reason I would leave The Walking Dead, Handmaid's Tale, and other shows out
Is the numbering hierarchical, or is it just a random, numbered list of a hundred? Kudrow above Jon Stewart? It must be a numbered list as they came to mind, to a roomful of people, tossing names into the hat.
Breaking Bad number 1? .... but Sopranos definitely has to be either number one or number two. The Wire should be in the top three for sure. And Six Feet Under should probably should be in the top 10 if not in the top five. And agreed Mad Men maybe number 11. And WTF True Blood gets nothing or Westworld? They should have been in the top 50 or 70. Shit where is Breaking Bad?
The thing about Golden Girls, they weren't that old. They were in their 50s! Just like the sex and the city women are now in that new show I haven't watched, Just Like That or some shit lmao! But they're the same age! In their 50s.
Best “American” shows of all time. Hollywood sure loves to pretend they are the only movies industry in the world
@@BaranoffIsaac Are You Being Served
Who made this list? This is so subjective
Baywatch? C.S.I? Miami Vice? Beverly Hills 90210? Melrose Place? And yes… Conan O’Brien.
What? No Battlestar Galactica?!! No Doctor Who?
Doctor Who sucks now 😂

Manc here so we are not going to be much use, but I agree with your call,🇬🇧✌🏾
For me, South Park will always be at least top five
Married with Children ...
I’m stunned Deadwood isn’t higher. One of the best written shows ever.

Beavis and Buthead
Peaky Blinders
The Boys
The OC
Normal People
Shameless
Dexter
Band of Brothers
Family Matters
Schitt’s Creek
Veronica Mars
Saved by the Bell
A Different World
Misfits

Angels in America
The Comeback
The Leftovers
BoJack Horseman
The Larry Sanders Show
Enlightened
Definitely not Bojack Horseman
What?! No Space Ghost: Coast to Coast??? LOL OK, maybe only I would put it on there, but it was a GREAT show!
Murder She Wrote
Murdoch Mysteries
Castle
Bones
Unsolved Mysteries
Frasier
Quantum Leap(the original)
Night Court (the original)
Mom
Family Ties
Perfect Strangers
Burn Notice
Home Improvement
I love this piece. People get so emotional about the shows they like. I've never watched the Sopranos but you sure have given me reason to MT.
I never watched the Sopranos either but then I did - better than Breaking Bad, it's gotta be number one. BRILLIANT!
I agree with you that The Nanny, Dexter and House should be there 😊
You are a Proud 🏳🌈 Brave 🏳🌈 Heroic 🏳🌈Triple Vaxxed 🏳🌈 Double Boosted 🏳🌈 Disabled Warrior with pretty nails 💅
No Doctor Who?! Wtf.

Oh yeah, that’s a huge miss
Yes!
@@MorganTremaine Monty Python was a huge miss, too, but as @eirakari pointed out, they might have only considered American shows.

Big Bang Theory
Tom and Jerry
I think as a viewer and a fan of you during the trial. A podcast setup content would be nice. :) However, everything is still great!

The Jerry Springer Show
What a random effing list! So enjoyable watching you react lol I was as offended by Homeland’s ranking as you were by South Park😂
NYPD Blue, Law & Order SVU, yes, Conan, Haha...The Monkees! they were their time. Original Star Trek?!?! The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, I Dream of Jeannie (at the time).
I had my fingers crossed for The Monkees, Bonanza, Gunsmoke! SVU deserved top 10, after 25 yrs on the air and still going.🤦🏻♀️
The handmaids tale needs some credit 😊
Rolling Stone came out with a list last year, it’s wild how different some of the rankings are
BTAS should've definitely been on this list. I'm not biased at all.
If Cheers is on there, I'm so sad Frasier isn't. I love that show so much.
Did they say how they came to these choices and ranking? What was the criteria?
MASH?
I think a lot of the shows that were really good at some point were probably tarnished by being on for longer than they should have and not being consistent with the writing quality, that would be the reason I would leave The Walking Dead, Handmaid's Tale, and other shows out
I’m surprised about there being no Star Trek. It may not be that huge now but it revolutionized sci fi tv. X Files should have been higher.
Star Trek and The Honeymooners not being anywhere on the list is unbelievable to me.
I thought The Walking Dead would be on it.
it definitely should be
Now, this was a rollercoaster of emotions... But so much shows are missing. Who made this list? On what was this based on? :D
Suits damn it.
BTVS not being higher breaks my little millennial heart.
Conan def should have been on there! He was AMAZING! Sherlock, The Mentalist was so good.
How the hell was Mythbusters not there?
Where did they get these stats?
Chicago PD should have made the list

Cut - Keep it 100
Surprised supernatural or ncis wasn't on the list
Stargate SG-1
Where the heck was MASH on this list?????
