Interestingly, countries that did not have such widespread access to the medical intervention have not seen the excess deaths.

sorry BBC guys but plastic bottles are NOT bad for the environnement! plastic materials have an infinite life! and without plastic we couldn't live. The issue is: how plastic is managed. So pls STOP with this rediculus way of thinking about plastic. Where are problems with plastic? in Africa , Asia or India not in Europe where people and GOVs know how to manage it and industries are very happy to recycle gaining lots of money. So pls be informed before talking!
