Laneige's isn't lip gloss, it's a lip mask, you need to do more like a balm.
EDIT: Why does this get so many likes? I was wrong to comment because I hadn't caught that Kiki said she shouldn't have made it as a gloss because at the beginning she referred to the product as if they were lip glosses (and yes, it was after calling it a lip mask) and at the end she said she didn't know what she had done wrong. Sorry, please. I was never trying to demerit her video, I love her content.

Watch mixed colored piping videos for cupcakes and cakes. Thats how I learned to use colors swirls for my medium.

Might be easier to swirl it if you make it a thicker balmier texture and use a piping bag. I work in a bakery and to make swirls we'll put the colors in 2 separate bags that feed into another bag, so they mix only when its being piped! Keeps the colors crisp and defined rather than putting it into 1 bag together!

What if you put in one color first and fill it halfway, then use a syringe to swirl in the other color before it all sets? That way the colors don't mix as much and you have more control of color placement. Also like you said, making a thicker base more like a tinted lip balm instead of a gloss. Also you could try scooping a little out of the original colors and make small batches of your color samples, take notes on your ratios, to match them better? I definitely think you could nail it if you tried again!

put the pink and blue on two separate sheets of saran wrap, roll them into little tubes, place them side by side in a piping bag with the ends cut. bam! no mixing of colors and nice swirl.
