    Hi Bob, Dunbar would be a good place to visit, drive to the far end past the golf club, beach good for dog walking and a public loo ! We have had several picnics there when travelling us to Scotland

    Hi Bob and Jenny, i am enjoying this video as i live in Northumberland, i have looked at this site before, however i think it was fully booked but i will be looking at it again. On your way up the A1 you passed the signs for Holy Island and Beal, there is a lovely little site called the Barn at Beal, it has a little bar/restaurant and it overlooks the Island and part of the causeway, it is very peaceful and at night you can see all the lights twinkling on the Island. On your way you passed the turning for Wooler on the A1, you could have gone this way as well, taking you through Wooler to Cornhill then turn right at the roundabout puts you on the road to Berwick, a little bit longer but more picturesque.

    The shower rooms... Looks like they have sliding locks on the outside but not the inside?

    Why did you not film next door the bee farm and cafe in the bus ?

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  5 лет назад

      We weren't allowed to film at the Bee Farm, so we didn't go in. Don't think the cafe was open.

      @@BobEarnshawMoHo That is a shame, they have done themselves out of free ads. It was a good visit, we bought some stuff and the double decker bus cafe home bakes was to die for. Not to mention the farm museum. Tks for reply Bob nice videos and edits. Scotland we roam :-)

    Hi , we were wondering about getting a Sat nav , after a recent trip to old hunstanton. I Was dreading not being able to get through there safely, so didnt go in end. Do you find it helps .

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  6 лет назад +1

      lotzie Sand yes it helps, but we shouldn't rely on it too much, as we demonstrated. Get one that allows you to enter the dimensions of your outfit and that will take into account low bridges, width restrictions and so on. A little bit of research and planning before you go always helps.

      sat nav is good but common sense needs to go up a gear when using.
