- ppl think having pillar bases are trash in update 3.0 but I'm here to prove you wrong !
so in this building guide I explained how you need to build a pillar base in update 3.0 conan exiles to be safe against bat riders ! so the idea or tips and tricks is that you make archer thralls on top for in raid protection time and you fill the roof with spikes for before raid time start so ppl can not jump on the roof to start bombing from top and wipe you so the only problem will be the trebuchet ! so if you build step by step like how I explained in this video you will be able to make a really powerful pvp base protected against bat rider and arrow raid with god bubble and bombs since you live on a pillar and lightning .

Ive try a full triangle fondation base on top of a "mesa", of course, covert with triangle angles , and anti climb arrond below, works well , after just need a god bubble and also a fence all around down just to be more safe, the elevator must be put on the only "T1 square off the base, take it all off when offline, i also put a mini single cube house in front of the elevator action key down base so nobody can accesse to it, peace and quiet

yes thats the problem of update 3.0 all the base spots become useless only cave locations are good so i was trying hard to make a pillar base somehow to become a bit useful

If you corrupt your third perk in vitality, you are immune to bleed, poison, disease and sunder, so you can stand on those spikes all day long with no trouble.

also keep in mind the spikes have literally 5k hp if u manage to just place 1 bomb while up there especially with the corrupted perk aswell as the last stand perk its kinna gg there alrdy

Hello there is 2 best way to go on supper tall bases
1 fast elevator
2 teleportery stone and remove it before raid start

Yes most likely 1 or 2 shot max that's why funcom recommend archer thralls on top of pillar bases 😅
Is there a pillar or peak in the exiled lands thats safe from trebs?
No pillar bases are safe against treb
Anytime I see an anti raid base with a god bubble, I automatically think about having to tediously farm all the god materials and confessor to make a bubble every night..

I enjoy your tutorials and videos and would be really interested in seeing a tutorial around how to build anticlimb on pillar bases, specifically if there's a way to do it that does not skip every other foundation row.

Thought the bubble is just working, when you're shooting towards the temple, even in the slightest?
no its also working the other way around if u shot from inside to outside it will block it

Man I wish these bats never existed, I've barely played since 3.0 hit and these god damn things are the bane of my existence, is there no way to deal with them other than sitting on top of a base for the entirety of raid evenings? I know some people say caves but they're all taken on the server I'm on and you ain't allowed to stack on officials apparently so even caves ain't as good as they used to be, I swear this is a game for RPers in 2023 now lol.

archer cant shoot in bubble. make trap scales so they cant climb anywhere

i changed some files in my game to remove shadow, fogs and so many other things in game that not necessary for having better fps and less lag and see ppl better

Ye treb can be the only problem but I show how to make anti treb protection
🤦♂️. Palisades…. you land on them, you shoot 2 Explosive Arrows and 2 poison arrows, and they are gone. You can even land on the fence and shoot them.
And in the end, this base is a easy wipe with a treb.

ye agree but i didnt find any better way for pillar bases they are just trash in update 3.0 for treb i explained how to build that hold the base for a long time at least so u can defend it
@@darkcat.gaming True, the devs just made 50% of the Locations useless.
You can try this on locations like the Big Mountain in the sea near the Pirates on Exiled, or a Bridge at Siptah.
But then you got a bigger Top and more space to land again.
Probably the only way to play agains experienced enemy’s, only play on a server where you can have a hanging Base, otherwise…change server

Bruh bats should just be removed and the lighting both way too powerful for raiding. Like just give us different types of bombs, bombs that have different strengths, same with explosive arrows and upgraded trebuchets.
