  • Baby Carrier Comparison | Artipoppe vs WildBird
    Similarities:
    ✅️ Headrest
    ✅️ X- configuration in front carry
    ✅️ H- configuration in back carry
    ✅️ Non- adjustable panel height
    ✅️ Adjustable panel width
    Differences:
    ☑️ Waterfall & apron style waistband
    ☑️ Price tag
    ☑️ WildBird offers two sizes (xs-xl & l-4xl)
    ☑️ Standard webbing on waistband with Artipoppe
    ☑️ Thick, comfortable strap on waistband for WildBird
    ☑️ Fabrics
    These are two fairly different carriers with different pros and cons. If you've used them, I would love to hear your thoughts!
    You can check out @sarahmahri.babywearing for her experience wearing the WildBird- for those who want to see thoughts from another body type.
    @wildbird can be found on my Website (letstalkbabywearing.com) under both buckle carriers and ring slings. I don't provide a discount or link for the Artipoppe personally, but you can find them easily if that is the option for you.
    Two options that are VERY similar to the Artipoppe: @sandiia_official and @qusybaby which can both be purchased worldwide.

    Great info! I am considering the WildBird carrier but it definitely helps to know that with a G chest it might not work for my newborn.

    Expensive is an understatement for antipoppe.

      It's definitely expensive, but if you take their base level and add on the discount they provide to everyone with codes that are plentiful online, it brings them down to similarly priced compared to carriers of similar quality and materials. I personally would spend the money on a different carrier with better brands, but that's just my thoughts!

      @@letstalkbabywearing you raise some valid points. I spent 200$ ish on a Tula so that checks out.

      @biatchwhat I hope you love your tula too! I personally have been so happy with their products. They are definitely a brand that has a wide variety of price points as well. I know some of the handwoven conversions are $6-700!

      @@letstalkbabywearing I actually didn’t know they had that price range either. I heard about the free to grow and just went for it without browsing.

    Would you say if you tend to have back and neck pain that a cross back like wildbird is the way to go?

    So thorough, thank you! Do you have any other suggestions for petite mamas? I don't have any Artipoppe and would rather not support their brand, but it's tough out here for tiny ladies sometimes 😅

      Yes!! I feel that. I highly recommend the Qusy baby if you want something similar to the Artipoppe. Otherwise, Hope & Plum just came out with a pretty good one. Happy Baby tends to work well for petite frames as well!
      Woven wraps are always an option as well- super versatile, but a longer learning curve!

    Is the panel on the Wildbird long enough for an older baby (looking to purchase for a 7 month old with a long torso and website doesn’t list the panel height)

    • @letstalkbabywearing
      @letstalkbabywearing  3 месяца назад +3

      It is one of the longer ones on the market for an infant carrier. I can still use it with my 2yo

    Which one would you say is more breathable. My baby gets hot very easily.

    Do you recommend buying carriers second hand?

    • @letstalkbabywearing
      @letstalkbabywearing  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes! 100%. I would just double check that it's not recalled, ensure no cracking on plastic pieces and no tears in stitching/ panel that would affect safety.
