Patrick, Adrian here (but on my wifes account) I think the B300 came out after the B200 about the same time as the B250.The B400 was the last of them and youre right it was based on the 146K home organ and had basic midi.
Great organ. I thought the B300 was the portable version of the T300, but this seems more modern, sounds great through the Leslie. I will have to bid on this! A question, what model Leslie can be used with my T500?
I think I played one of these. The one my friend has may be a B-200, I do not know. I'm posting from another friend's account at the moment, as I cannot get to my house to post from mine. I never knew about the B-100 series. -Nathan
Hmm, this has a bit of a theatre organ quality to it. Ok, Leslie question. I've only ever had a Hammond (T500) with an internal. How does it work when sounds are not 'spun' like the piano preset on organs with no internal speakers? I know the T series had the main speakers and internal Leslie, so the rythym did go through the leslie, but through the Leslie for example. How does that work with B200, B300? With the Leslie only?
what is wrong with my Hammond B 300 ? Not the right sound...leslie dont work.. (I bought the organ beginning of 1980´s )--Anyone who can help me ?? I live in sweden
Goran,if youve had the organ all that time you obviously like it.Which Leslie do you have?An 815/822?Does the leslie turn on with the organ? And does it change speed?
I had a B200 and HL822 for some years. Sadly no longer. This B300 has more features but what Leslie are you using please as the spool up and wind down is far more responsive and doesn't appear Rotosonic? Why did Leslie move over from separate drum and speaker!

I never knew about this model, but I seen a Hammond B-400, a Composer series made into a combo organ.
Good demo! I did not know about those other buttons for strings sounds?
I don’t care much for the instrumental sounds but the true organ sounds are rather impressive.

6:20 - ahh 'I hear music' - one of my favourite tunes - Stephane Grapelli's version is fab
You have sold me. 😎 A bit too far to travel.
ok thanks. Far more responsive than mine was even with adjusting belts.
I need to get hold of another Hammond, and I just have to pair it up with a Leslie. Are the 860's generally the cheapest?
Hi u still have the Hammond b300
