This trailer perfectly portrays that suffering isn't solely one-sided. That even the supposed amalgamation of evil holds more to it than first assumed.
This trailer is seriously one of the best game trailers this year. It doesn't glorify war like SJWField5 does, it tries to show the real horrors of WW2. Not to mention this trailer ACTUALLY has a WW2 feeling to it, unlike BF5 where half of the time I forget it's a WW2 game. Best of luck to you developers!
I love the game but my last marathon session it was definitely not in a release state. Weird hitboxes when prone and other such issues I haven't seen in Squad. Again love the game and have convinced many friends to get it but I just hope the initial launch experience is a bit more refined than last time I played for the sake of newcomers sticking around and growing the playerbase.
I think that this is one of the best trailers that i have ever seen. Try to compare this trailer and Battlefield V trailer. Battlefield V is bigger shit than is against Post Scriptum.
Yeh in its current state their are problems like invisible walls around trees and other problems but i think in a month or so the game should be in a much better state

Unlike other war-glorifying trailers, is this trailer really well performed in a way that every fallen hero is remembered in what once was a real battle with real casualties.. This reminds the most of what a British soldier once had written during the Christmas Truce in 1914 (WW1): "Those who call the shots won't be among the dead and lame, and on each end of the rifle we're the same".. There are no "good" or "bad" guys.. Just men performing orders, for their country..

The sentiment remains the same. We know the amount of soldiers who fought in the wars. Some are named and some are unnamed. However, their sacrifice is not diminished in spite of that. We can still remember their existence even though we do not know them personally. Simply acknowledging their sacrifice is honour enough although partial to a true memorial. Nonetheless, we have to do our best to honour our fallen comrades as much as we are able to even if it means not remembering them exactly but more like them as a whole if that makes sense. I know it's not as good as remembering them individually but I was more talking about the armies that fought for freedom and peace and justice no matter who they were. I don't know every single soldier who fought in the war but I still respect the terrors they went through to give us the future we have today.

I can comapre them i way of making. Just because world war 2, has situations with bizzare weaponry used, why not make those into games? No you will make something from a fantasy dream. You wanna fight for a young cripple in war? Why not children in Berlin 1945?
First of all nice trailer, good work, really looking forward to play that game, seems to be a rather good expierence! The slower pacing on the game and focus on teamwork is something I really want to see in more FPS titles, it's really encouraging to see that there are games like this out there! Keep up the good work and make this damn thing a fucking masterpiece! Second, why do people keep comparing this with BF or CoD all the time? This really doesn't make sense at all since those games are targeted for different audiences, so saying "this is so much better than bf/cod" really is like saying "cheese is so much better than fucking coffee" aight I get it all these games take place in a WW2 setting and are FPS games I get it but goddamnit apart from that those games are entirely different. I have the rather dark feeling tho that a lot of people coming from these games will more or less ruin the awesome community which made Squad(which to me feels a lot like PS) this awesome expierence it is up to this day.

A tasteful approach. I commend the developers efforts, this looks simply stunning with careful attention to historic accuracy. This is perhaps the closest to traveling back in time and living it for real.
A single-player option, telling the story from both sides would be an excellent addition to the game in my opinion. From the landings all the way to the ultimate failure of Operation Market Garden.
I wonder if that clip of the lone AT gunner was to portray the actual Victoria Cross winner John Baskeyfield who, refusing to fall back manned a 6 pounder on his own until the very last moment. Respect to the video maker if that is the case.

I love this game! despite it being lagy at times (ping for me) and being an early access, its a good game i can see this game can get really popular once the optimization and bugs are worked on. then sales will hopefully sky rocket to where i personally hope gets more money and bigger fans than BFV. I am glad to see the devs still update the game quite frequently so you can probably guess the game will be AMAZING (hopefully). Also GOOD JOB DEVS 10/10 would recromend. (updates more frequently than Dayz can tell you that)
Its an great trailer, but as a german i have to say its kind of weird to listen to the german speaker. Its way more theatrical then a german would say these words.
I will try. He is speaking like somebody who is playing in an opera. No normal soldier would speak like this. The shivering in the voice, the pronouncing just everything is just a little bit to much.
Firstly, man do I ever hate being poor. I really, really, really wish I could afford to get this game. Secondly, this was an exceptionally well made, respectful, heartfelt and poignant trailer. You have my up most respect for showcasing your game whilst not glamorising the war. I wish you all the success in the world and I wait with baited breath for my poverty to end and to be able to join in with everyone else.
