    if you've lived in a high rise building its about the same as waiting on an elevator to take you down to the garage so you can get in your car. The cool thing about this concept is that it makes it easy if you have a bunch of items in your car and you don't want to make several elevator trips down to get them out of your car (groceries, Christmas gifts etc.)

    • @ogzion3745
      @ogzion3745 6 лет назад +23

      If you live in this thing you probably have someone buying your groceries, plus the only thnig you want to do when you turn off the engine is get out of your car...

    • @collinsglassmia3263

      No it's not, I lived down the street it's 1 sec per floor in the elevator after pulling up and leaving your car for valet (maybe 10sec walk)

      Everybody in the comments is missing the point. A person that lives here is not running to the grocery store and to CVS first of all.
      Mainly this is about privacy! You could be an athlete a high ranking executive in a major corporation or movie star and this allows you to leave and come back home in 100% complete privacy!

      Daver G ok guy nobody compares a condo to a house, they’re two completely different ballparks and serve different markets. Again, even the cheapest condo at the porsche tower is more house than many people know what to do with and filled to the brim with luxury.

    • @shechshire
      @shechshire 5 лет назад +1

      @Daver G The point is that no apartment has both a view and a garage. Opting for other options that houses provide inevitably makes you lose the view.

    • @royliber3824
      @royliber3824 Год назад +1

      I think its for "safety" reasons and comfort mostly. People can just walk 10 meters into their cars and start driving, which ofc can be done in a regular garage at ground level but it makes the idea accesible to those who live above ground level. Also I think its safer for the car to be around you and not parking outside or in a home garage that can potentially be broken into.

On imminent housing crash is selling multimillion dollar properties sold for less than half. This building is not going to be any difference. The majority of buyer are former nationals that are looking to invest and as soon as prices go down they will sell for what ever price. People are just as naive as they where back in 2007. If money wasn’t the issue why until this day half of that building is still up for sale including the pen house. No bay in its right financial mind is going to risk that money specially now. Being able to sit in the car and not needing to go outside in the cold/warm weather or fearing your car might not startup because of the conditions is actually quite smart. I know most people say "what are your home garages for" or "why don't you just walk up to your car" etc, but for some people its not such an easy task and this is definitely makes things more comfortable and more secured for the car not parking outside or in a home garage that can still be broken into. I recently had the previlige to park my own car in my brother's apartment where they had this automated elevator that takes the car into its specific parking spot away from everyone. In one of the most crime-related areas around the city I felt the car was safe where it is. Its really smart.

    • @rickfromjersey
      @rickfromjersey Год назад +1

      @postalfnj I was wondering that myself, but if you were to live there it probably wouldn't matter because the expense of buying a Porsche would be less than what you pay in property taxes and the building maintenance. For example one of the units currently for sale costs $6 million, the Miami-Dade Property Tax Assessment for that condominium is $42,509.22 per year and the building's month maintenance fees are $4,450 per month ($53,400 per year) for a grand total of $95,909.22 per year so if you purchase a Porsche Macan for $60,000 it wouldn't seem that much considering you'd be paying close to $100,000 every year in property taxes to Miami-Dade and the building maintenance fees.

    From someone who's recently moved out of a building on Collins ave. It's a bitch to live in a building. This gets old fast af, 5 and a half mins to park your car and walk into your house vs 10 secs in a house. Also most units don't have a garage with a view like that.

      A boat load more photoeyes and prox sensors. Basically stand alone door operator at each landing to make sure that car dolly does what it supposed to do. Fun to use not to service

      Service Tech same amount of time as looking for parking and waiting for an elevator at any regular high rise condo - but 10x more convenient when you have groceries

    I would hate to be around when that elevator breaks and your penthouse is on the 40th floor and you're stuck on the 19th floor. with a broken elevator/dolly with no where to go !! It's would be disastrous to say the least...lol...
