Pretty much the best i ve Heard from her, really the looping melodies and letting the Voice free help her a lot. Then on why they all sing kínd like bjork, I supuse it's because of the icelandic accent, that in some way they just let it come out and fuse with the english and make it more weirdly nordic, as icelandic sounds like that.

yes, i know - i noticed a comment down below - sounds like Biork - okay, but what if you are one of the rare ones that is not a fan of Biork; - and why does everyone want to sound like someone else - instead of themselves? Don't get me wrong - i appreciate talent - but i love individuality more - and i search through ALOT of music; - i'm not usually a fan of female singers - and I'm tired of saying that - because, I am a female singer - but there are those that have passion, range, a different style - and i wish they would do it. I still find myself listening to Faun - ALOT - because they have various sounds and experiment - and i am finding that women from the east are more interesting; also latino women have fantastic range and style - but there's not much to be found. I probably have more than 1000 CD in my home- just a guess - between my partner and my years of collecting - only perhaps 15 women singers in there.
@@trianglesfalling she definitely sounds like bjork, it’s in the voice… and it’s fine. However, she doesn’t sound like bjork genre-wise. She does her own thing and we love her for it ^_^
that girl's so talented
really good indeed Jofridur! these sweet and mellow melodies remind me of hope sandoval
It is light, real light !!! So talented, so magnificient

Sten Scholz 10 months later have you found them?
Dive in and undercurrents have been released now by her! Worth the wait!
Wow, beautiful! Where can I listen to an album by this band?
its not out yet, but you can find other performances of hers around youtube
Ah okay, thanks! I guess I'll have to be patient :)

Is this also with One Little Indian?
Isn't that the girl from Samaris?
Fingerpicking with a bass is very cool

& really tho.. she doesn't sound that much like Bjork.. the similarity is in the accent .. Jófríður has her own thing...

Liked Samaris better, but this is also pretty cool.
beautiful but l wont to hear drums in this band
check out her other performance on KEXP--spectacular drummer, sublime performance
Jake Marshall not really a bad thing though. I actually prefer stuff like this with no drums

Beautiful, but not as memorable as track Anew.
True. I'm in love with Anew.
Shouldn't someone tell the bassist that his bass isn't plugged in?
2 years ago she accepted my facebook friend request. then 2 days later she unfriend me :'( still love her though
her voice reminds me of Bjork
Yes, it sounds beautiful ...but it's also incredibly boring,
how can one play this, or listen to this without falling asleep?
yup. *yawn*
