My brother was a United States Marine! He was on the base 1979 thru 1984. The family filed a claim 2 1/2 yrs ago. My brother pass away 2022 having Throat Cancer. The family was told that he is in track or tier 2 from our understanding his attorney went to court and the case was approved for elective option. As of September 2024 his family is still waiting for a settlement. Please give these veterans what’s due to them and their family 😮..

58 cases settled out of now over 1/2 million at a settlement of $258,000! That is what our government has valued the lives of those of us that sacrificed years of our lives to defend this country. This is the way this government says: THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

What happens if I had filed a “Pro Se” case directly through the courts?

I filed on my own behalf, no lawyer involved and a year agp I got my perfection letter from the court telling me to do nothing else until I hear directly from the court.
Lawyers and their elective options are what has delayed payment to victim. Plane and simple.

Is this settlement amount in an interest bearing account?

They knew about this in the early 80s that I know for a fact NOW. I ask about a separation from active duty physical 3 different times only to be told no. I had illness then is the reason they refused a physical. What a crime to know about this and still let it continue all the years they that they did

EO standard by Navy JAG and DOJ was based on Equipoise standard showing the disease, the timeframe at Lejeune and 35 year since last date at Lejeune.

My father died from Leukemia. I opened an estate on his behalf. Will there be trials for Leukemia, wrongful death, track 1 cases or these Wrongful Death cases fall under settlements track 1 cases? Or I understand correctly, this type of case will go thru a matrix and set a value for a settlement?

Let’s talk about my Lung Cancer surgery in 2015, Elevated PSA since 2015, Vascular and Cardiac Heart problems since 2015, and Kidney Disease 3b since 2015 treatments by VA. Been on CLJA since 2022 and on the Camp Lejeune Water Registry before 2022. Don’t care about your Matrix. Speed up the EO process.

Do you believe birth defects such as congenital heart disease (Bicuspid Aorta valve replacement for me) will be one of the last ones to be litigated? I would enjoy a video which addresses birth defects for the people born at Camp Lejeune. Also I do not understand the tiers are there 2 or 3 tiers?

Thank you for the update sir. It sounds like they are going to try and use those settlements as baselines or ways to drill down court offerings

I learned so very much from you! Ty! I am wondering about my dad having multiple cancers. He lived at Camp LeJune and has had bladder cancer twice and then died of pancreatic cancer. How will they pay for a person having multiple cancers?
