I'm a practice fanatic. Balance and muscle memory to manage lean and traction. In my scheme of things balance is the heart of the matter. If you can't feel what the bike is doing you can't manage it. Don' neglect slow balance practice. There is an balance exercise on my youtube channel using a 2by4. Harder than it looks and good for balance on the bike.

Yes, that was tricky for me as well , but could be simplified to "kiss the far-most cone five times"
