I love this talk from Dr Gabor Mate. I love how we are understanding our past so we can process it and let it go. Coming from a childhood of detachment, stress, anger and trauma, I needed to learn to speak up and more importantly, to understand my parents had their own challenges that they were (and are still) unaware of that left a scar on me. I mean that not in a cruel way, but in a way of opening deeper connection through widening and heightened understanding. In this enlightening video, Dr. Gabor Maté explores into the topic of managing emotions through the practice of Compassion Inquiry for triggers. Join Dr. Maté as he shares valuable insights on handling triggered emotions with compassion and understanding. Learn how to navigate through difficult emotions with a sense of empathy and self-awareness. If you're looking to cultivate a deeper understanding of your emotional responses, this video is a must-watch. Accountability for me has helped me work through my issues and I like how Dr Gabor mentioned triggers help us understand ourselves. If we're always triggered it's a deep wound to be discovered and try to process.
