Hi Robert, I caught plenty of Halibut and Leopard off that beach, but as far as metal detecting there it’s pretty much littered with trash, foil, and pull tabs. It’s good to see that you were able to find a ring and some other interesting finds.
Robert with the method you employ when detecting it matters not if there is 1 or more detectors on the beach. You still have finds. Don't get discouraged. They collect the trash and you get better finds. Stay strong Robert
