- Sky News host Rita Panahi says there’s been all sorts of chatter about former Hawaii representative Tulsi Gabbard being Donald Trump’s vice president pick.
“I don’t think it’s going to happen, but what a turnup for the books that would be, someone who was a Democrat presidential candidate,” she said.
“She destroyed Kamala, and then she saw the party is completely unhinged these days, so she left, then she becomes a Republican VP, wow.”

In general lots move from the left to some form of the right, myself included. Few move the other way and when they do it’s usually from moderate to moderate.
But going from far left, including Marxism, to conservatism, classical liberalism or libertarianism is very common.

For our Non-American friends. In the US Constitution in the section regarding the Electoral College, any pair of Candidates for the Presidency MUST be Citizens of Separate States. This was designed to keep a Region or State from gaining long term Political advantage.
Trump is now a Legal Citizen of Florida. That means that he CANNOT have a Running Mate from Florida. That means NO to Desantis, Rubio or any other Floridian.
And it’s been that way since 1791.
Trump would never pick Desantis anyway.

I have concern that she is a stealth candidate, i.e what she says isn’t what she actually believes. It seems that the true nature of many of our politicians doesn’t come out until they are elected and than it’s too late to stop them. It’s why we have so many left-leaning republicans in congress.

Two things I didn't like about Tulsi..I'm a woman and I like my guns...and I believe in birth control over abortion. However, she is up to first trimester...I'm not happy but I can deal with at least a form of moderation and she has changed her mind on guns. So I think she will be good.
