All I'm looking at is yet another example of why alot of the sisters are single or single parents, so ingrained on everyone taking care of them but don't wanna to nothing for them self. And now the daughter is only repeating what the mother says it only teaching ya daughter to being non-independent. SMH 👎😡

And if that's the case, using your logic, when I watch this show, I see a lot of Brothas acting like Uncle Michael: being lazy, making excuses not to work or be better, dependent, and eating up everything. No gender should be completely dependent on anybody. Not only that, people aren't loyal anymore and are all about themselves and they'll switch up on you in a New York minute. Plus, the economy isn't built for that anymore. Everybody should get and have their own whether they're in a relationship or marriage or not because *nothing is guaranteed* .
You say sistas want everybody to take care of them and they don't want to do anything for themselves but when sistas get degrees, businesses, or high paying jobs, y'all are the first ones in your feelings saying we said we don't need a man so which is it? Are we dependent and entitled or independent and don't need anybody? We can't be both. Funny enough, white and nonblack men don't have a problem with their women (or sistas for those who go that way) getting degrees, working high paying jobs, and owning businesses. This is why I say sistas need to explore their options and leave y'all coddled and confused negros behind.
