Cooper Films recently filmed shearing on Valdemar located outside of Millthorpe NSW. Valdemar a 1200-hectare property is home to Duncan and Eileen Clowes. The fine wool Merino enterprise runs 1,200 ewes, and produces super fine fleece of 16 - 17 micron. Australia is the world’s largest producer of apparel wool. The fine wool produced at Valdemar is in demand world wide from high end fashion markets attracting a premium price.
