I’m a school teacher in Nigeria currently working in a government school. A lot of Nigerian teacher already have this low esteem about the job and it’s majorly because of the financial aspect and how they are being treated by their employers. I’m currently working on my PR to Canada and I have it in mind to switch career as well, but with this video, I’ d have a rethink cos I really love being a teacher but the way teaching profession is being done here is a No No. Thank you Oyin for the enlightenment 🤍

The honest truth is that it is hard initially to adjust to the system but over time, the system grows on you and you will see yourself even doing so well. I can’t wait to hear that you are here in Canada o, please the teaching food needs more Nigerian teachers 💙

Pls start from googling express entry. Get all the information about moving to Canada first, you have to be a resident in Canada before you can be a teacher here

If you want to do PR and move to Canada with your teaching experience that’s okay, you don’t need to continue teaching. Also I don’t understand the latter part of your message

Beautiful video, so when you are on break during these months do you still get paid? Or you only get paid when the school is on section.
So you don’t get paid during the holiday but you can apply for EI employment insurance it’s a money the government pays once you are off work.

You need to get here first and send a msg to the body but I’m sure they will still require you take a bachelors of education degree
