I grabbed an 85" u8n. People can say what they want but its absolutely gorgeous and suits my lifestyle perfectly. (Also $2500 Cad is about half the price for all its features compared to the other brands up north).
Picked up a open box S90D 55” for 1,063 at 6am this morning awesome tv I like my s95d better but this was a great price probably gonna replace my Sony a90j
I'm really thinking about getting the 65 inch samsung s90d. I already have the c1 in the living room and the tcl 65r655 in the game room. Not sure if i should wait till next year or pull the trigger. Would love your feed back!
I would look at the Samsung 8k qed. Might be mire but it runs 4k very nice and just upscales it. Instead of connectors it all runs through a seperate box. This is nice because then you dont plug anything into back of tv. I would get that over a samsung oled even.
Not giving buying advice here, but I did the upgrade from LG C1 to Samsung S90D QLED. It's not night and day sure but it is very noticable. In HDR only though. In SDR I feel they are very similar due to the content being, well, SDR.
Thanks for everyones feedback! I was going to replace the tcl with the samsung. I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger. The wife might kill me. Lol
I find the decision at 98 inch to be the most difficult (size vs quality). Example: x90l (98) or G4 (83)? Coming from a x930e (65) and sit 12 feet from TV.
S90d and the c4 have the same discount price in my region 1200€ I bought the 55 inches s90d model the only problem is that it comes with the woled panel i couldn't afford to buy the 65 inches model did i make a bad choice
I have 77 S90C. I had an 85 Bravia 9 for two weeks. Bravia 9 has better processing but I still prefer the contrast, color and depth of OLED. If money were no option I'd go with the Bravia because it's significantly larger.
I got a laptop with a wvga ips and 265 refresh rate. I just wonder why they cant make TVs like this. It looks fabulous tho the viewing angles suck but im sure thats by design on a laptop.
The TCL QM8 is also a good choice. Qled 5000 dimming zones on a 65inch. I have a qm7 and its great. Very nice sound for a TV. I used it with xbox and no soundbar. Was dirt cheap too.

Agree it’s a great TV

If you are replacing the TCL with it its a nice upgrade. If its too replace the OLED maybe waiting another year wouldn’t hurt.

@TechWithKG i just pulled the trigger on the s90d. It comes next Saturday! And the wife was very understanding. Lol The tcl will go in the bedroom.

12 feet is a lot id probably go with a 98 if you got the space
Absolutely go 98 at 12 feet.
I am in exactly the same boat
@ head agrees with you. Heart wishes there was a B9 in 98!…or a G4 (98) that wasn’t $20k lol. Ignoring price, would you do x90l over QM8?

Ignoring price 85” Bravia 9 or 77” S90D. Straight on viewing?

Hisense U8N 65 inch for 899.99 seems like a great deal.
Yeah its a good deal for sure

What about image retention !!!
What about it?
Panasonic W95A Costco 799$? A steal?
Really good deal
