that happens to a lot of filipino kids lol. the parents are one of the factors for that and the education system (also social media mostly). I also grew up being better at english and hating the filipino subject because it was just so hard for me LOL. Nobody corrected me for that. I would only watch english videos on youtube and I was mostly exposed to english television and cartoons when I was a baby and toddler. SO moral of the story is parents should expose their kids to both languages.
