I failed my first IT exam, and watching your videos helped me pass my retry no problem. Now I'm using your vids to study for my 2nd exam. Hopefully I pass the first try this time around!
I just passed my 1101 & 1102 exams over the last week. Your videos definitely helped me go over last minute details and understanding besides the study guide I bought. I appreciate the work you put into these.
@@TheIronMenace I wouldn't call it harder per se. I looked around for practice questions and other information online especially for the performance ones. All of them I found were focused around scripting and math but the actual test questions wasn't about those at all.
@@TheIronMenace I took the core 2 the day I posted my original comment so late march 2023. As for the performance based question I know one evolved around understanding a customer issue with a crashing PC. Specifically the question was: The customer's computer crashes (BSOD) after 30-40 minutes of use. Determine the likely cause and solution. It showed a PC with the primary components (power supply, processor, RAM etc) and their respective standard specs and what it was operating at. I believe mine was the processor being overclocked as the question listed the processors standard speed around 3.4GHz but the operating speed was 4.7GHz. The only other performance based question that really stuck out was a printer based one. It was troubleshooting a printer jamming and had 5 options to select regarding the components but the question specifically stated only to place what would be applicable. So based on the question I only placed 2 of the 5 slots on the question.
Whenever you think you are smart remember this guy exists. Btw is in these CompTIA full courses the whole curriculum or how does professor messer do it?
It all depends on your study method. If you study everyday, you may be able to complete it in 2-3weeks. Anything other than that, it could be 1-5 months. Hope that helps!
1101 > 1102 (A+),> Net+ > Sec+ to get your foot in the door. If you're asking that this close to finishing his A+ videos, you may have bigger problems to worry about
