But eega was made in 2012 whereas Antman was made in 2015. Cockraoch is just a 15 mins shortfilm. It's ridiculous to compare it with a proper 2 hrs motion picture. Just that we cant digest the fact that it's made in India.
This movie had a budget of $250k at first. Producers loved it so much they gave all the money to SSR which was still not much by today's standards. He made a profit of 4x than the budget. Dude is a visionary. I remember watching this movie at the hall in college. One of my best experiences.

Antman is fun and lighthearted like Guardians of the Galaxy whereas this seems to veer a little bit more towards torture and relentless payback, much like the style of The Crow, but with a fly. At least that's what I got from it. It was pretty dark in tone, unexpectedly.
yeh!! you're right. But contrary to what you have got from it, it actually is a fun movie.The concept is about, how a fly turns an all-powerful man into a goofball and laughing stock. The movie revolves around the chemistry between the the girl and the fly( I like such weird, out of the world love stories). Yes, it has a overall dark tone to it, and so is the case with the movie as well. It is also a fun, and emotional, drama where you laugh, cry, and root for a house-fly. It stands as one of my favorite film till date. :)

But I'm with you, they should add subtitles for everyone to understand..

this movie was a sleeper success with relatively new actors; you just get along & want the FLY to succeed. For the low budget, you'd discount some CGI issues but the screenplay will keep you engaged completely once the fly arrives. The success of this movie in 2011 was the reason for the producers to back Rajamouli's next BaahuBali in 2015 , the biggest movie in India ever till date & that has reached people like you ; invoked your curiosity for you to dig more good Indian movies.

Its perhaps the best and finest animated movie with a strong story. You must watch it with subtitles, before making any opinion. Its one of the best movie I have gone through, including hollywood movies.

So this is how it is... 1) It would have elicited an equally weird reaction here too, if not for the director who already made a mark with his previous movies. 2) Having said that.. it would have still been weird to see that turn of events without knowing in advance, so the director actually hinted the concept to the audience even before the release of the trailer and in fact made it very clear in the press meets since the release of the trailer. The love story part is just a set piece for the actual (fantastic) revenge drama. Not sure if there is a subtitled version of the trailer but you should be able to find the movie with subtitles. Take my word and go for it :) . Only problem is.. be prepared to watch some sub-par CGI (by hollywood standards) due to the budget restrictions of the movie. But the excellent story telling will keep you engaged all through.

Just clearing the misconception, this isn't a Bollywood movie. Its south Indian, I think its called sandalwood industry. We have lots of regional language film industries in India apart from Bollywood. But Bollywood is definitely the unifying factor.

This movie did great business. He is the same guy who recently made "Baahubali". Creatively he takes the risk. This was released in Tamil and Telugu languages and in Hindi when no one was there to distribute, it was Ajay Devgn (your favorite star) who came to rescue to release it in Hindi. You need to research a bit on SS Rajamouli. :)

Basically this movie is a revenge story. So the hero's soul upon death goes into the fly. Then he approaches the heroine as a fly and tries to tell her in different ways that it was the guy she loved. She finally understands and both of them kill the villain (well the fly kills him). Apparently this is a sign of undying love which i find sooooooper creepy :p
Just so you know, this trailer is available in Hindi too which has subtitles and the hindi version of the movie known as "Makkhi" is available on Netflix.

Ok. Let me tell you a story. A guy gets bitten by some genetically modified spider. His DNA then gets binded with the spiders DNA. He sleeps for two days straight. He wakes up and finds he can shoot web, jump over buildings, kiss the love of his life. Hmmm strange....Nah I watched Spiderman 100 times and I still love watching it. I watched Eega 100 times and still like to watch it. The point is, when movie starts logic ends. Imagination has no limits and still these content creators manage to entertain us for 2 hours. Kudos to those people :-):-):-)

Not sure if there is a subtitled version of the trailer but you should be able to find the movie with subtitles. Take my word and go for it :) . Only problem is.. be prepared to watch some sub-par CGI (by hollywood standards) due to the budget restrictions of the movie. But the excellent story telling will keep you engaged all through.

Just clearing the misconception, this isn't a Bollywood movie. Its south Indian, I think its called sandalwood industry. We have lots of regional language film industries in India apart from Bollywood. But Bollywood is definitely the unifying factor.

This was released in Tamil and Telugu languages and in Hindi when no one was there to distribute, it was Ajay Devgn (your favorite star) who came to rescue to release it in Hindi. You need to research a bit on SS Rajamouli. :)

Basically this movie is a revenge story. So the hero's soul upon death goes into the fly. Then he approaches the heroine as a fly and tries to tell her in different ways that it was the guy she loved. She finally understands and both of them kill the villain (well the fly kills him). Apparently this is a sign of undying love which i find sooooooper creepy :p

Ok. Let me tell you a story.
A guy gets bitten by some genetically modified spider. His DNA then gets binded with the spiders DNA. He sleeps for two days straight. He wakes up and finds he can shoot web, jump over buildings, kiss the love of his life. Hmmm strange....Nah I watched Spiderman 100 times and I still love watching it. I watched Eega 100 times and still like to watch it.
The point is, when movie starts logic ends. Imagination has no limits and still these content creators manage to entertain us for 2 hours. Kudos to those people :-):-):-)
