    Great lesson, Soren, thank you. We always focus on trying to play long lines, and that's fine, but rhythm is most important, it makes solos interesting and surprising. Regards

    Great content...thanx very much....just a little hint...leaving space is as important as playing a note....good exercise is playing in the first bar of a given chord progression and in the next bar leave space etc.(e.g. II-V-I-VI ) and vice versa telling a story. Regards

    Definitely going to try this approach out, thanks. I think too much in terms of notes rather than rhythm. Will look at your exercises in different keys sequences and modes and also try to devise some of my own. Great stuff!
