What is the energy efficiency of this unit.A good induction motor 3 phase is 80%efficiant.There is a controle unit which is also 80 % efficient.Energy loss is more.
What is the failure rate of vfd. If motor capacity is more the failure rate is also more.Device cost is considered as heavy load motor.Is it economical for industry?
Even though it is an efficient device (up to 97% efficient at full load) it also provide different modes of operation for different type of load like
Constant Torque Loads
Constant Horsepower Loads
Variable Torque Loads where torque is the amount of turning force required by the load.
This capability makes over all system performance even more efficient than any other methods.
