To basically invent a game and have it be so tense and entertaining, it’s no fluke that Jimmy and Jake are as successful as they are. This company just keeps winning.
@@daleftuprightatsoldierfield In other words, they basically invented a game as was said... No one said they invented cricket. But this isn't just cricket in a warehouse it's a clearly different game using cricket as inspiration. Like saying Ice Hockey isn't a game because it's basically Field Hockey but in a different venue.
The lesson: if Jay speaks, listen. I remember last season he was such a great teammate and that obviously continues. Also, I'm convinced no one is having more fun than Mel.
Sanjay is amazing. Sadly for him, so is BBD. Pitching duel, and having BBD as a golden bowler in that final over was just what Hookline needed to close it out. What a good game
That one and labeling Rourke "Angry Guy" got me. I don't know if anything is ever going to top Captain's League Ball in Play when they gave Lou a backwards 44 and a salmon-ish color when he put his jersey on inside out
the fact that sanjay bowled maybe the best over(s) in BIP history just for BBD to outdo him the next inning was insane. I love this game since it always seems to be the unknowns/role players who shine brightest
I was excited to see Knorp in this but wow is Sanjay good! That first couple innings of each team getting wickets was insane! Can't wait for the Love Yas vs We Got Ice matchup on Sunday.
Incredible game. So insane to come back and hold Woogas to 9 after the best bowling/wicket getting performance ever seen. Also glad they didn't dwell on the dent too much. Dan gets too hard a time on here. He's such a good dude and makes everything he's in better.
I absolutely love Ball In Play. I love having cricketers on each team, how balanced the teams seem, how much everyone enjoys it, and I love the announcers so very much. Mel had big shoes to fill, and she's gone above and beyond. Kudos to everyone involved in making Ball In Play a reality, it's truly a joy to watch.
24:07 it took 3 seasons but someone finally understood the concept of throwing at the correct end and someone else understood the concept of getting their ass out of the way!!
What a brilliant display Those first 2 half-innings!! Absolute defensive masterclasses!! Then the exact opposite with an offensive clinic the following inning!!! Couldnt ask for more fornthese guys this was an incredible game, well played from BOTH teams! 3 magic holes in 7 pitches, by a rookie bowler!!!!!!! Give me a break that was phenomenal!!! 👏 👏 👏 helluva game boys!!!!! Woogas and Hookline both showed up and showed out for sure!! ❤
It was a great game, but i wouldn't call it the greatest. That award goes to last season's Ball In Play thriller between We Got Ice and Pinstripe Strong. The only one that contests that imo is Dan Rourke hitting a walk off grand slam against Jomboy in the recent Blitzball Battle
I like how immediately Mel caught on to Jolly's arrogant/cocky behaviour with calling his own scores and instantly took a disliking to it then cheered when he got wicketed.
Really thought it'd be an uphill battle after that first inning with how great Sanjay was bowling, but BBD & Jolly did great responding with their own great plays. Don't think this would have gone anywhere near as smoothly had they not gotten their own 3 wickets, since they'd have been chasing in the 3rd inning and defending a lower gap.
Except he doesnt. Every warehouse event is recorded like a month or more in advance. They wouldnt travel halfway across the country on a daily basis to play 2 separate leagues at once. It wouldnt be worth it lol
Sanjay's 4-seamer was definitely over 40mph a few times... Do they still have the radar on the wall? Also, 21:17 lolI could not understand her here. Translation?
I know the game is built around scoring runs and chasing but I’ll throw my hand up for being a much bigger fan of how this first inning went with so many wickets
6:43 Did they allow Jimmy to do the stats for the first inning(s)? They had Sanjay with an economy of 13.64 after 1.1 overs (aka 7/6 of one over). Since it was 15 runs over 7 balls, it should have been 15/(7/6) = 90/7 = 12.86. I mostly noticed because the .64 part looked wrong. You can't have .64 with a proper fraction unless the denominator is at least 11 (i.e., 7/11). Only 7 balls were pitched/bowled, so no. [ETA: They ended up dividing 15 by 1.1 instead of by 1 1/6, which is an understandable mistake.] The economy was done correctly for BBD's first inning(s) at 7.50 for 9 runs over 8 balls since 9/(8/6) = 7.5. At the end of the match, they put up stats from Game 2, which have reasonable looking economy numbers. It does seem like a shame that they don't get credit for the rest of the over when they take the last wicket, but that would be complicated if there were multiple bowlers.

We old folks are loving Playing Guts! BIP, Floorball, Warehouse rules, and more!
BIP wasn’t really invented by Jomboy. They just took cricket and modified it for the warehouse

@@Axxl7507 That's not inventing, that's modified as was said.
They did the same with other games aswell
There were like 2 magic holes all last season. Being able to curve the ball adds a new dynamic that makes this so much better
Jimmy Knorp is gonna cement himself as a warehouse legend in 2024. This was a hell of a game, all the BIP players have really leveled up.
The lesson: if Jay speaks, listen. I remember last season he was such a great teammate and that obviously continues.

Anytime someone gets 3 wickets by magic hole we gotta call it a Hat Krish

To start so well and to not win, tough.
Seeing BBD pumped makes me want to run through a brick wall. Best bowler in Warehouse history.
BBD doesn't get to shine in too many Warehouse things, he's usually relegated to roleplayer. Love it when he gets to take center stage.
I was thinking the same, love seeing him fired up!
Jolly, Lou Dab, BBD, and Penik all went nuts in their first game. I imagine if they all teamed up they'd be unstoppable!
Tee hee
how fun
If Penik was captain this team would be incredible 😂
"Hey listen, you're lucky a body didn't fall out of the that thing" - Chris Rose 😂 golden moment form the booth as always
2:25 Love how quickly she calls Jolly out and Rosie’s reaction. Aussie announcer gold up in the warehouse mezzanine between Mel and Peter
Sanjay is amazing. Sadly for him, so is BBD. Pitching duel, and having BBD as a golden bowler in that final over was just what Hookline needed to close it out. What a good game
Thanks for the spoilers

Dan dented the strike zone 😮
I hope Jimmy makes him buy a new one.
What’s that thing made from?
@@benriser4018 Looks like hard foam.
there is no video evidence of it so lets not make too quick conclusion... oh wait.
Rourke denting the strike zone by throwing the bat after getting magic holed is the most Rourke thing to happen
"Still might not fully understand how big a deficit 63 runs is" is hilarious - love the sassy captions haha
That one and labeling Rourke "Angry Guy" got me. I don't know if anything is ever going to top Captain's League Ball in Play when they gave Lou a backwards 44 and a salmon-ish color when he put his jersey on inside out
Chris Rose's dedication to the wicket dance is amazing. I am HERE for it. dont stop PLEASE

Wow Sanjay is an awesome bowler those different Pitches and arm slots are filthy.
Drew Davis brought me Jomboy kept me here and Jimmy Knorp made this event my favorite. Thank you MLW and thank you to The Warehouse.
24:07 it took 3 seasons but someone finally understood the concept of throwing at the correct end and someone else understood the concept of getting their ass out of the way!!
Slap ball and ball in play. Inventing games and sports. The content is always phenomenal.
This is the best regular season game in Warehouse history imo. Top 5 Warehouse game as a whole. Just a masterclass in BiP by both teams.
What a response Hookline Sinkers did after only getting 15 runs in the first inning!
That’s what champions do. Great game all around!!!
This was such a cool display of everything that BIP can be, all in one game. Excellent job

BBD is a legend. Love watching him play. 🔥⚡️
Amazing game! BIP2 already looking amazing, can't wait for more.
BBD and Drew gave us a new version of the “mom made pizza rolls meme” n I’m here for it
Outstanding first inning. Amazing debut for Sanjay! Overall great match.
I love watching BBD get hyped!!! Reel 'em in, boys!
BBD was built for these moments 12:58
36:30 “I’m being bribed with swag and am totally OK with that” 😂 same
Wow! Amazing game! What a great cast. This channel is criminally underrated
Ball in Play is my favourite of the Warehouse Games! This match was so exhilarating!
25:56 best slo mo shot of this game 😂
Either that or 13:21
I like how immediately Mel caught on to Jolly's arrogant/cocky behaviour with calling his own scores and instantly took a disliking to it then cheered when he got wicketed.
jolly is hella cringe. bro got shit pumped in captains league slapball
It took exactly 2 minutes for Mel to pick up on Jolly Olive’s natural Heel tendencies. Boy is a born villain 2:25
chances of a zo-style pivot toward likability continue to decline
For real I don’t want to sound negative but I hate Jolly and it sounds like everyone else picks up that same feeling pretty quickly as well
Is there a better shot of Drew's dance after BBD's Magic Hole pitch?
Jolly ain't my captain - BBD all day for me
BBD went into straight BULBASAUR mode after that magic hole on Dan
Thanks for making this game and all the fun Warehouse content!
I’m here for the BBD primal screams
Bowler BBD is my favorite warehouse player. If warehouse trading cards become a thing, that will be my first purchase for sure
BBD might be the most underrated bowler. I don’t think he gets as much credit as he should for how good he is at it.
I'm here for the PWOOOOM of the bat!
I love that Dan got changed to Angry Guy in the graphics
"Don't do math, just make plays." I always knew that Jolly was one of those anti-sabermetric guys.
Not like he's got his own RUclips channel dedicated to baseball stats lol
What a performance from Hookline after that disastrous start! 👏💪
BBD for MVP
I’m in love with the left-handed-righty-bat representation from Sanjay! There aren’t many of us but I will rejoice whenever I see it
I am ready for a Worldwide Ball in Play Cup.
Definitely in contention for best BIP game so far! Phenomenal stuff, and the booth was ON it, bravo gals n guys.
that was fan-freaking-tastic
I'm really looking forward to seeing Peter play.

38:37 Mel's brutal. Love it.
love me some BBD domination
sanjay with three wickets to enter the warehouse is absolutely LEGENDARY. welcome in brother 😂❤
that jolly olive jomboy merch commercial is already top 3 commercials from bip 2
BBD is so easy to cheer for.
It's a little bit like he's all of our God sons.
The 3 wickets in 4 balls was straight 🔥what a Warehouse debut!
Fantastic game of BIP! All the strategy with top tier bowling and batting. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw these teams match up in the finals
Sanjay and bbd making a case for the best bowler cant wait to see how jack does to see if he will be in the conversation for best bowler
I love Ball in Play League!
Jimmy Knorp has such Jomboy Media energy it’s fantastic 😂
Dan broke the Zone 🤣🤣
Ok so Rob taking his hoodie off without losing the hat AND without turning the sleeves inside out is such an Alpha move. He is HIM
He's also not a very large man, but yeah, that's impressive
Love the different stances and bat holding techniques of cricketers and baseball players
I love how Jimmy Knorp plays MLW and Ball in Play at the same time
Drew Davis too!
I believe this was filmed months ago but I’m not too sure
This was pre recorded
This is prob recorded sometime in February or March
Except he doesnt. Every warehouse event is recorded like a month or more in advance. They wouldnt travel halfway across the country on a daily basis to play 2 separate leagues at once. It wouldnt be worth it lol
What a match. Speechless
Lol that was a wild contest in both batting and bowling/pitching.
Sanjay's 4-seamer was definitely over 40mph a few times... Do they still have the radar on the wall?

If it’s put in play the speed limit is usually ignored
Loveee when jolly feels like he needs to tell the pro cricket player how to play cricket...
So happy Dan is back too
Hot Head Dan Rourke, please never change lmao
The new announcer is absolutely gold love it
Hookline again cementing themselves as defensive juggernauts
Jolly's bat deserves recognition as well. So far he's been a boundary machine
Games just keep getting better
I LOVE BBD!
Jomboy Media actually the GoaTs of choosing booth partners for Rosey. Pavel, Sammy, Mel, and of course Peter Moylan. Literally all home runs
Great to see Knorpp back
CRAZIEST FIRST TWO INNINGS IN WAREHOUSE HISTORY
This game is electric
I am glad Jolly dropped the whole heel character schtick. Dude just oozes goofy charisma and I love seeing him just be a good natured, goofy lil dude
Jimmy with the flat bat but uses the rounded side... typical Jimmy move xD
If I've said it once I've said it 100 times: I cheer... For BBD
BBD FOR PRESIDENT
I'm absolutely floored Hookline held Woogas to only 9 runs after that top of the first just demoralized them. Amazing.
fun seeing the blitzball boys try to figure out BIP
Can’t wait to see Moylan in the field! But I do miss him in the booth
Love Mel!
Sanjay is awesome!
Ball in play continues to be the most electric ware house series oat
What is the. CY young award for Cricket cause magic hole 🤯🤩Sanjay gets it for the first inning alone what?!?😎
Jimmy Knorp with the rare walkoff HR in a loss
What a start for the Wooga's Wow!!
this looks like so much fun. Can y'all do a fan league? Each team gets one Jomboy Media fan
I know the game is built around scoring runs and chasing but I’ll throw my hand up for being a much bigger fan of how this first inning went with so many wickets
