I wound up going long wheelbase myse;f on my mt410, I already have tons of stunt trucks and without huge upgrades the mt410 wasn’t going to be better for stunting then my other stunt trucks, but it makes a terrific bashing Truggy. I added the long chassis, front and rear m2c metal replacement braces (skipped the crazy big dollar m2c center and tower braces though) the rear shaft, metal spur and changed to a little stiffer dif fluid. I run it with either off road Truggy tires like the DuraTrax badgers or low profile monster tires like the backflip lp’s This can either be a decent stunt truck or an incredible bashing speed Truggy. It’s under 8 pounds with a real 8th scale castle monster 6s 2200 combo and as a high speed basher it sets itse;f truly apart from the crowd I did add the wing mount and wing and just used a standard Truggy body with my own Kydex body mounts which I prefer
Thanks for showing this and the parts. I have a question which isn't really referring to your build but since you are so familiar with the MT410 and modding it, I figured you might be able to help me please. I want to get the MT410 kit but I also want to use my SMC 4s 8100 mah batteries but they are 165mm long. Do any of the chassis options (first party or m2c) make this possible? Thanks.
Im not too familiar with the m2c stuff as i usually try to do my builds with oem stuff. My MT410 battery box is 150mm. I think you are pretty restricted to that dimension as the center dog bones rear cup would be chewing into a battery if it were any longer. Hope this helps
Yea a short wheelbase is too sqiurly when you get on the gas. I love the et48.3 and 2.0 for that reason. What is the difference between the 2.0 and the 410 besides the wheelbase? I like it
Unfortunately tekno made many minor changes to geometry and what not.. so the diffs being different dont allow us to mount mt shock towers (for body mounts) or bumpers etc However both trucks definitely drive similar in a bashing setup
Depends on what you plan to drive it on, You could definitely enjoy it for awhile short wheelbase! then when you want a change up try out the extended one
As o f this date, researching posts on tghe arrma forum, this configuration causes undesirable flex, which damges other parts. This combination of parts has proven to be problematic to those who even mildly jump the platform. If you want to fly, buy a fing plane.
I've had no issues with flex or odd breakages/damages. Its very comparable to a stock truck in that regard I dont "extreme bash" ... but my trucks dont stay on the ground either, they've definitely had flight time and this truck has been tough
That may b the coolest MT ive seen. Great job on that body too.
Great info and build thanks 👊
I've got the V2 Savage X Flux and now I want to build one, and Tekno is the pick ..I just want that size
How's the lightened chassis holding up? Looking at the mt410 for next build, I like the longer wb idea. thx for the info
One year later its still holding up great! No issues related to the extended wheelbase

Awesome! Absolutely agree its a great bashing setup. I feel with the right gearing and tires it could probably still pull some pretty good backies

I like my 2.0, i just want to take the wing of and use a body like yours that covers both shock towers
I would also really like to fo that! but i cant find any body mount options.. if there was a way we could adapt mt410 shock towers we would be golden
I have actually been using the et48.3 body on the 2.0 because it covers the front shock tower at least.
@@glenncarlson3161 yeah thats smart. Not everyone loves the 2.0 body anyway
Thanks, just ordered mine, then of course I see this! I put all the parts on my wish list, might just build it truggy size out of the box? Subbed,,,

Thanks subscribed look forward to seeing more👍
Thanks for checking it out !
You read my mind brother!!
Sub'd ya🤜🤛
Nice build brotha👌👌 Love long wheelbase setup

does the m2c widened et48.3 chassis work with this?
Yes i believe it does, however this is the more affordable route
Too bad I can’t find these wheels ugh
