So unfortunate that international travelers are restricted in Japan. Not much international fans are going to be able to see this exhibit. Glad I could go to a Sailor Moon Cafe in Osaka back in 2017.
You can visit Japan on a tour booked through a company. Individually travelers aren’t allowed yet without booking with a company. The rules keep changing (like this past week for next month). It can be confusing.
Good news for you here. The alleviation of international travelers restriction after 7Sept has been announced by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan recently.
Sailor *MOON* has been my favourite anime for 30 years. I really REALLY wish I could come see this and try the food and grab all the merch! I'm so jealous of everyone that gets to experience this!
I really like the original Sailor Moon back in the 90's more than the new crystal version but this looked so cool! I wish the museum can be open longer because I'm going to Japan next year for the Ghibli museum. I also have most of the merchandise there too and the Neo Queen Serenity dress also.
Wow, you have most of it! I'm impressed! My stuff is in storage but I think I only have a few of Sailor Moon's wands, the Senshi's wands from R, a locket/music box a few dolls including the talking Sailor Mercury and maybe one or two UFO catchers. I think I was gifted a North American Luna Ball at one point. I hope that you enjoy your time in Japan!
Seeing that "thank you drawing" that was made just for this show was really nice. Just made me have the thought of "they still have it, that love for it" seeing how well drawn and true to character Sailor Moon still was, no details skimped or anything, makes me feel like the creator stills loves these characters. I know some artist get done seeing their things all the time, burnout, just like singers get tired of singing the same thing over and over again so it's always nice to see those who still seem to care for them, just like their fan base. Moon, power!
Japan really does have a musem for everything! Incredible. Sure Western animation like Nicktoons and Disney are great and all, but there's nothing wrong with opening up to animation from another country. And it is clear with you that watching this anime made you love Japan and want to eventually move there. You are living your dream.
I am glad you are able to share the Sailor Moon exhibit with us who can't visit Japan. I hope they can do a tour with it for us international Sailor Moon fans someday
This sailor moon museum looks absolutely amazing although they say its open till this year they need to keep it open until next year as the borders are slowly starting to opening up to independent travellers and i bet there are thousands of us Moonie fans round the world want to experience and support!
This is the best tour video I've seen and I LOVE your coverage of the pop up cafes. You're so thorough!! Thanks for sharing this experience with us international fans.
this was so nostalgic for me, i remember watching sailor moon on tv when i was a kid. my favorite part of all your videos is the food! japan is always on another level with the presentation and creativity
This was a fun video to create! Anyone else watch this on YTV in Canada growing up like me? Watch my updated video on the museum & cafe with the Outer Senshi! ruclips.net/video/6DVzKehbXfo/видео.html
Thank you so much for the tour. For those of us who are not allowed into Japan. I went to the Sailor Moon exhibition a few years ago and loved it. I grew up with the manga and find the artwork absolutely stunning even today. Not really into the anime versions myself. Looking at the original hand drawn manga pages gave me goosebumps. I really hope Japan opens before end of the year and I will definitely visit. Buying all the manga related merch 😍
I loved watching every minute of this, beginning to end. It was so amazing to see all of the detail and color put into this whole building. The food looked so delicious! Thank you for letting us fans come along for a tour with you since travel is restricted to Japan. It was wonderful. :)
wonderful that you've shared this experience with the rest of us. only found out now about this exhibition from another video of a walkthrough and thus a bit jealous that i cannot experience it for myself. been a fan of the show since it first aired early mornings in the mid 90s and still enjoy rewatching it. Bless Naoko Takeuchi for creating such memorable characters that we are still celebrating today.
I've been such a huge Sailor*MOON* fan since I was 14 when I read the Chinese translated manga and the one thing I loved in this exhibit was seeing all the original artwork from the manga blown up and displayed in all its glory.
I have been obsessed with Sailor Moon my whole life! My brother's birthday is the same as Minako. Hopefully Next time it's open we can go ^^ Fun little story, when I was 9 I wrote to Naoko Takeuchi, and I think it was a month or two later I got a response, on my Birthday! (10/12) Easily the best present EVER!
I love how quiet it is why you are filming. Thank you what you do! I kinda don’t blame Japan for not having just anyone visit willy nilly. Restrictions protect people. Love the commentary and keep finding these museum’s!
For me the absolute best "Sailor Moon food" was in the café from the exhibition at the Mori Art Museum back in 2016. Not only the presentation was much better, the food was good restaurant quality.

This is wonderful! Thank you very much for filming and giving a comprehensive look at the museum. I'm stuck in Canada, but if I had to money to drop everything and go to see this, I totally would. This exhibit is incredibly well thought out and comprehensive, I love how they kept the boxes with all the merchandise. I also really enjoy all the costumes and the wedding dresses, too. It's so cool to see all the details on the costumes up close, especially the Bondai run. I always loved the double layers on the skirts.
All that merch! I would really like that Luna bag the most. So glad you can show us these events. I hope they can bring back the Sailor Moon cafe in the future so you can go.
Thank you so much for the effort just to show us everything 🥰 I've been wanting to go to places that has Sailormoon merches and museums. But I can't afford it. That's why I really enjoy watching videos like this
Thank you for uploading this!! It's very well filmed! I've loved Sailor Moon ever since I was very little! I wish I could afford going to Japan, so I really appreciate being able to see this even if it's a video! Sending much love to the channel and museum!💖
I want to live here. I love sailor moon. Thank you for sharing with us peasants who can't afford to go. I really hope they reopen the cafe someday. That would be a really neat experience. I want it all. Every single item in that store. A girl could dream.
I'm here for all the Sailor Moon and Sanrio content!! I wish they would make this a traveling exhibit so we could see it over here in the states. Same with the Universal stuff...we would love it here! Share the love with us!
YES! I get the postcards and clear files that have the beautiful artwork on them. Easy to store and display, affordable, and doesn't take up a lot of space.
Moon!!!! Yes i miss your videos cris. I start to bingewatch again all of your adventures. Love that I start with sailor moon museum! A nostalgia hit me deep deep. Love the merch especially the tshirt so retso!
Yes Sailor Moon!! 🎉 Thank you for taking us there!!! Huge fan of anime and kawaii forever. We think you are such a positive wonderful YTUBER. Great job lovely! 🎉🎉💕🎀
Those fruity drink floats looked soooo pretty and delicious! Thanks for sharing, I would've never been able to see something like this that in depth, I can't afford to go to Japan at the moment.
I love this. I wish I could have visited but I’m watching this in January 2023. 😭 Thank you for sharing it for everyone who couldn’t go in person! I love Sailor Moon! 🌙
I'll never forget seeing Sailor Moon for the first time. I was in junior high, 7th or 8th grade and they replaced Ronin Warriors (Yoroiden Samurai Troopers) with Sailor Moon. I was so upset at first, because I loved RW, but then I watched it. I will always call Chibi-Usa Reeni and Naru will always be Molly. To this day I still love and cry over what could have been between Naru and Nephrite. Thank you for sharing this. It's amazing to see since I can't go personally.
I really want to go see this, but traveling isn't really in the cards for me at the moment. I wish they would make this a permanent exhibit so I can get to see it someday.
9:57 I saw the Sailor Moon musical (titled "Sailor Moon The Super Live") in DC and NYC (x2) back in March 2019. It was pretty great! Hi! I live in Montreal, and I can't find too many activities related to Sailor Moon fans here. I went to Japan in 2017 but the Sailor Moon Cafe closed before I arrived. Would like to keep in touch with other sailor moon fans. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you so much for doing this! I desperately wanted to attend the exhibit, but it just wasn't possible for me. Now I feel like I got to experience it.
Just finished watching the video. I have a few favourite items. First it's the gorgeous wedding gowns! I had a sailor moon themed wedding, and the gowns would definitely make a statement! The second thing is those led wall lights. It's so cool! It would make a great addition to any house or cafe, it screams I'm a sailor moon fan 😆 Next is the acrylic stand of the beautiful backdrop at the entrance. Oh, I also love those clear files and postcards. I have a collection, it's small, light, affordable, and easy to store. I really hope Japan will fully open up the borders before the sailor moon museum ends. Moon 🌙
I had to make sure I told you how much I loved the vibes in this video, it was so enjoyable to watch all the way through, may be my favorite video on your channel to date!!! I have to agree this might be the best looking Sailor Moon food yet, that omelet rice looks to die for 🤤 thank you for taking us along 💗
Thank you for this! I could have looked at those costumes for hours! I did a whole buch of cosplay myself in the early 2000s and used to dream of seeing the musicals in person.
man I wish I was in japan. thasnk you for showing me this. It is cool to see just how much it changed over the years. It's funny cause when watching it you don't notice but when you look back you are like WOW!
Wow you did a fantastic job with this video! Thank you so much for taking me on a tour of this amazing Sailor Moon museum! I always feel a bit sad I don't ever get to see these things living in Canada, so I really appreciate that you did this review. I loved it and you're a really sweet person. I loved how excited you got about the minty drink. I watched the illumination show as well. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this detailed insight. Would’ve loved to go there myself. Especially for the original artworks! Her illustrations look so elegant and soft. I really love them.
Watching this I found out the Sailor Moon cafe was closed down in 2020 because of Covid. 😢 It’s always been on my bucket list to go there. I have been watching Sailor Moon since it came out in the earlier 90’s and I even still have my VHS’s. I will be a Moonie for life. People who love Sailor Moon will always love Sailor Moon. Yeah, it's been tough but it looks like things are slowly moving to allow tourists to roam the country once again. It is friggen slow though.
Where you getting this from? Tokyo is one of the destinations with my tour company. They wouldn’t have it available if it’s no international travel…
You can visit Japan on a tour booked through a company. Individually travelers aren’t allowed yet without booking with a company. The rules keep changing (like this past week for next month). It can be confusing.

Naoko Takeuchi did so well. Im so proud of her. Sailor Moon is still standing strong after 30 years!

You already know that there is more crystal/manga than 90s things
the new one is produced and owned more directly by the creator
@TransGenderObsession lol even you don't believe that, 90s sailor moon would be NOTHING without Naoko and the manga, you guys can't accept that
@@luisfillipebeserra2108 the manga is okay, but the Crystal anime sucks, looks cheap
