Thanks for your comment. My apologies if the video is confusing. I wasn't referring to the 1974 Skylark with that statement. It's a general statement that hybrid technology dates to the 19th century. William H. Patton filed a patent application for a gasoline-electric hybrid rail-car propulsion system in 1889.
