Its a nice addition, but there should definitely be more themeing especially during the 1st half of the ride. It just feels empty and quiet. There should at least be board music or speakers along the sides playing *something* lol
It needs landscaping at least…especially trees.
good luck its seawrold they arent gonna spend the money on it
Rode day after media day for passholders, music does play along ride route you can see speakers in video. Not sure why its not on for media.
Look at Orlando’s Infinity Falls.
This is a hugely bogged down version of that
This ride looks so fun, can't wait to ride this
They trimmed the airtime hill way too much
The reason why they did that is probably because it went at full speed into the water it would probably fall over
So cool!
Hello 5MadMovieMakers
Hey thanks for taking the time to watch! Your videos are awesome btw 😄
@@Swizey thanks!
This is a maintenance nightmare waiting to happen
😂😂😂 100000000000%
waiting to happen? this was supposed to open a year ago. it’s already been a nightmare
The launch looks like a maintenance nightmare that it could be removed
My first thought as soon as I saw the launch
I think this is a prototype so think maybe as it goes on they might make better ones that don't break regularly
Trim brakes on the last hill? Pathetic splashdown to, what a disappontment.
This looks awesome!!
Smoothest water ride ever... I really like this ride! The lines, not so much when it fully opens, lol 😆
the trims on that last hill can only be described as tragic
Exactly my thoughts…. Why
Just a guess here, but it probably wasn’t planned that way and Intamin had to re-engineer the last hill, hence the reason why the ride is opening a year late.
bet its the reason it got deleyed a year
@@JRY13sp not shocked and they werent there last year
yeah why, the ride is completely slowed down for no reason
Looks like a relaxing ride! This will be a good one for familes👍🏻
It doesn't look so bad. Thanks for sharing. God bless. ❤❤❤
Went on this actually! Very fun. 10/10
I love how this guy is going on a flume ride when it looks like it’s about to rain
Because I’m crazy 🤪
IT'S A BIG SPLASH!
I remember when SeaWorld used to theme things
What are you talking about, didn't you see that pile of rocks at 2:58? Top tier stuff
@@spicygroggy😂😂😂
You’ll never get theming at San Antonio that’s for sure lmao
Looks like a blast
Not really I went in it it’s mid
I like the theming... Not super immersive, but they were going for a certain vibe and they got it. Signs are cute for locals, "Bexar Crossing" and "Fiesta Geyser." Looks pretty fun, definitely excited to check it out. Solid addition to the ride lineup.
What theming😂😂
I was really expecting more. Considering this is the first of Intamin’s launch flume rides…maybe other models will be bigger and longer and more comparable to Mack’ s flume like Ripsaw Falls and Chiapas but with launch elements.
Chiapas is intamin?
Interesting idea but looks kinda underwhelming
Wow, Intamin. This looks incredible 💙💙💙
I can’t wait to vlog it on pass memeber preview and grand opening for sure
It’s a cool ride for sure but it’s missing a few more theming, they could’ve added some soundtrack for the ride, maybe some more props like the geysers are cool, and they could’ve themed the lift to a mountain maybe some rock work surrounding to look cool, either way nice ride
unfortunately sw sa is the lesser of the 3 and theres been signs of struggling. either last year of the year before they ran out of all fountain drinks mid day and by the end of the night they ran out of all drinks including water which is not legal to do in texas so idk how they got away with no access to water
@@DahBananaCannon uh its legal it happens sometimes
CATAPULT FALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🌊😄
OOOOOO I WANT TO RIDE THIS SO BAD LOOKS SO FUN
It was so much fun! You’re gonna love it!
I would love to get on this sometime in the near future. I live about three hours from San Antonio without transportation 😢. Someday I will ride!
We need one of these in the UK
Imagine like this at Alton towers it be insane
I wish some how they could add abit more theming or change the water flow faster it would be great. From the video I grade it 7.5/10
do u get soaked
If you sit in the back, yes. But if you sit in the front, it’s manageable!
The theming and atmosphere around this ride scream small Cedar Fair park (Dorney, Valleyfair, Michigans Adventure).
fun ride… with a few modifications i feel like this could be a good model
I’ve noticed that the sea world in Orlando has better theming for their rides rather than the other ones. Idk if it’s because the one in Orlando is trying to compete with the other parks in the area, that would be my guess.
Orlando and Tampa are their cash cow parks, the economics of it would not work out in San Antonio.
Yo quick question can I use this footage in a video I’m making? I’ll be sure to give u credit and link the vid in the description if not that’s Alr
Absolutely! Anyone is welcome to use any clips from my videos 😊
Cool. I pray your device was okay since it got wet.
I used a GoPro Hero 9, they’re fully waterproof 😄 probably would of been a different story if I took my Sony cam 😂
HURRAY! I am going to San Antonio this June. I was worried for a while that it still wouldn't be ready by then. Might sound like an overreaction, but I had that happen to me last Jun at Indiana Beach when they said that the new All American Triple Loop would open for that season but it didn't.
I kinda would’ve preferred it if the last drop had a bigger splash. There’s no need to do the drop then not have it drop straight to water is there? They probably should’ve reconfigured it a bit so that you get absolutely drenched, like water everywhere.
Why is there trim breaks at the end? Ruins the drop 😢
This ride is bound to be maintenance hell.
looks fun but short in duration
2 hr wait time in the Texas heat, hard pass! Looks fun though!
Looks underwhelming but I'll find out soon. How many launches?
I’d ride it first before coming to a conclusion, it’s easily one of my favorite flume rides in Texas. It’s one launch 🚀
This coaster would be amazing if it had audio and music
I can see them adding it in if they don’t already have it, opening day will tell.
Imagine this thing wasn’t so trimmed, I understand why but still😂
@@universalgames2901I'm actually a log flume with a launch element and an airtime hill 🤓
Hopefully some vegetation grows in around it soon
I don’t think it was possible to build a more boring attraction than SWSA version of Atlantis… I was wrong. It’s like they never learn.
I could of sworn on the computer renderings there 2 or 3 launches not just 1. You would think Seaworld could have sprung for some more landscaping. Have it so you can only see where you are going and not be able to see across from one section to the other. The trim brakes at the end really kill the whole drop and splashdown. Kinda defeats the purpose of doing it in the first place imo. Come on Seaworld you can do better. The ride a gets a 5 out of 10 based on the video.
oh no
Wow, knowing Intamin I really expected more from this, the execution of the launched "airtime" hill and that trimmed down splashdown at the end is shockingly bad. What happened here? I mean the final drop is pretty much exactly like chiapas and that ride does not trim you that hard.
They’re still adding more theming and not everything was running on media day. Do your research before making dumb comments.
I've been waiting a year for THAT launch😐 The great pumpkin coaster at king's island goes faster
This is not Orlando nope
Orlando is getting its 1000TH outdoor coaster 😂
Is that an LIM launch on a flume?
No, it uses a high speed belt drive.
There was barely a splash.
water rides don’t splash how they used to…😭
Saw the intense advertising! Huge buildup by the park. But after watching this pov, it’s very tame and meh… Could’ve had a launch straight out of the station at least.
Is it a credit tho?
No way lol
I think maybe because it does roll on a track and goes upward using its own momentum.
Tragedy waiting to happen I want to ride it but something bad is bound to happen
I don’t know why all these people in the comments are calling the ride not good and mid. The ride seems like a solid addition. I do agree that it lacks a little bit of more on the theming side but it’s perfect for the upcoming hot summer heat and a good place for one of the ‘first’
Well not just that. The launch seems to be nothing more than a gimmick and the final drop looks to be pretty heavily trimmed. Still is better than nothing though.
why don’t parks just leave the go pro mount on one of the trains and make enthusiasts and youtubers pay a media fee or something
Cause regular people would damage them. +the camera quality would probably be rubbish
I am a bit disappointed, the theming is trash and why did they have to put all these trims on the last hill 😪
0:52 top notch theming there. Overall this ride looks very disappointing tbh.
All new world class water launch log flume……… has one lazy slow launch…… like what were they thinking…. Complete waste of money. Yeah they probably were experimenting with it since it’s the first, but come on at least they should have given it 2-3 launches or one launch that is very fast…
A ultima queda foi horrível. O legal é se molhar
I'd rather ride the rio loco
its giving meh.....
Waste of space… this park always gets the short end of the stick
@@aidsetab806 and the heavily braked drop and the baby launch with slow crest over top of hill.... for a ride being delayed so much sure wish it was worth it.
@aidsetab806 Idk Texas Stingray is one of the best GCIs ive ridden. I only like Mystic Timbers more
@@aidsetab806 nah just needs theming but wel tell that to an US park
That was not a huge sign
maybe c tier. was pumped when they announced. still nothing to dudleys
3spooky5me
Nick, what?! 🤣
Thanks for the video . . . but the ride looks so slow and boring - had to skip parts of the video because the ride is so bad! Have they lost the technology to build good log flumes? What with all the straight, completely flat cement troughs with little or no current? Your log should be rolling downward with the current, splashing and bouncing off the channel walls. I love a good log flume but this one looks like a massive flop.
You’re definitely entitled to that opinion, I believe it’s a great start as to what can be done for a ride of this type in the future. Either way, thank you so much for taking time out of your day for watching!
This is a really cheap attempt at creating another Infinity Falls😬
Chiapas -vs- Catapault falls 😂
That's not really a fair fight
@@Posirep it was more of a comparison in the quality difference, both intamin, one looks high quality and one looks like a carnival ride. 😂
@@j.1200 Cuz Phantasialand is basically an unreasonable comparison for most parks...granted SeaWorld has given up on theming years ago
Im kind of disappointed 😊
Of course, there's commentary. Mute it is.
Yup 😅
Is it just me, or do newer rides just seem so boring and underwhelming? Seaworld chose such a “safe” purchase they should’ve never spent the money at all
Well that looks underwhelming AF...
Boring ! It has so much potential….
This looks... incredibly boring 😭
lame, no theming, no real splashdown.. meh.
Looks… boring :/
This already looks dirty, old, tired, dull, and cheap, this looks like an FEC discount flume. I think Intamin outsourced this ride to technical park who built Jurassic River @
Cavallino Matto Italy
Boring
Horrible omg
