It is no small thing to say that rescuing the hostages is a task of enormous difficulty.
There is no doubt that the IDF has picked up the mountains of intelligence. I believe they probably have a pretty good idea of the locations of the hostages. Knowing that six were recently shot when the IDF got too close to them is reason enough to take their time until they have an operation devised that can safely extract people. I don’t believe that all of the hostages are in the tunnels. I think those little toddlers are probably in a home somewhere perhaps even outside of Gaza. I think they’re well taken care of. One would hope the world would condemn toddlers being kept underground inside those tunnels. That would be my prayerful hope at least. Four hostages have been recovered from homes. God knows where our precious people are. Our part is to pray and trust the Prime Minister and the IDF.

Additionally, I'm assuming that Hamas has really limited communication by methods that can be intercepted by the IDF regarding the hostages. They most likely are resorting to means that have no signal, like human courier. It also seems like they have divided the hostages among different groups inside and likely outside of Gaza. It's possible that hostages may be in the West Bank, Jordan or Egypt by now.

I find it odd that people are accusing Netanyahu of delaying operations to rescue the hostages when he literally directed a speech towards any Hamas member holding one of the hostages to surrender and they would be spared. Let alone the fact that the IDF is conducting their operations with surgical precision in order to limit civilian casualties, while also getting yelled at by the entire world for not doing enough, which in turn forces the Israeli army to slow down even further.

I'm not sure there are any living hostages given 14 months of captivity and nothing left of Hamas leadership to use these hostages as leverage. Why would isolated and leaderless Hamas militants keep feeding hostages after 14 months?
Clearly it is not in Israel’s interests to bring the hostages brought home. In that event, Israel would be under even more pressure to stop killing civilians in Gaza and destroying more of the Gazan infrastructure, maintaining the blockade of food, water and medical supplies. Israel should continue the charade of wanting to save the hostages but should continue to take minimal action to do so. Israel can then concentrate on efforts to replace the civilians in Gaza with Jewish settlers.
I fear since month that all the hostages aren't in Gaza anymore, they where brought to Philadelphi-Corridor over to egypt. And its troubles me, that nobody is talking about the complicity from Hamas an Egypt. Why could Hamas build so many tunnels deep into egypt territory?

@@charlesknight4944 A little analogy: my sister and brother-in-law used to keep chickens; years ago they had a major rat infestation. It was because the rats were eating the chickens’ food. Soon there were hundreds of them all over the yard, and the coop was riddled with their burrows. Finally my brother-law ordered a very expensive feed dispenser from New Zealand that was specifically designed to be rat-proof. It worked miraculously; within weeks the rats were all gone. When they have no food, they go elsewhere.
I’m not comparing people to rats, but this story illustrates a primal truth about all animal life: we are intensely resource-driven. When resources are secure, we stay and do nothing to rock the boat. When resources aren’t there, we do whatever is necessary to get them, be it relocate, or, if that’s mot possible, cease to support or tolerate the current government that is causing the shortages. Gazans will not withdraw their support of Hamas, or at least their complacency, as long as they continue to have secure resources. The destruction and death of the war doesn’t motivate them to change; they’re conditioned to accept this as the norm, or even a desirable thing. But they’re not conditioned to accept food insecurity.

I find it odd that people are accusing Netanyahu of delaying operations to rescue the hostages when he literally directed a speech towards any Hamas member holding one of the hostages to surrender and they would be spared. Let alone the fact that the IDF is conducting their operations with surgical precision in order to limit civilian casualties, while also getting yelled at by the entire world for not doing enough, which in turn forces the Israeli army to slow down even further.
I don’t think the hostages are in Gaza. I think they are in Egypt some where in SINAI desert.
The IDF is offering 5 million per live hostage surrendered. Not a single hostage has been brought forward.
They have'nt found them because they may have been moved OUT of Gaza.

Because they still have thousands of active and armed members. But it’s not just Hamas; other terrorist ground like PIJ are also a major presence in Gaza. The whole place is basically run by armed gangs of one kind or another; if they can loot aid trucks to make a profit they will. They couldn’t care less if it means genuinely hungry people going without; it’s just not that kind of society where there’s widespread trust and a social contract to look after the needs of all.

In Gaza, the victory is defeating Hamas. The victory is bringing the hostages home. Hamas has been defeated long time ago. But victory is not yet won until all the hostages are home
I'm not sure there are any living hostages given 14 months of captivity and nothing left of Hamas leadership to use these hostages as leverage. Why would isolated and leaderless Hamas militants keep feeding hostages after 14 months?
Remember also that Hamas itself doesn't know where these hostages are, because they just handed them over to other organisations and random people
Clearly it is not in Israel’s interests to bring the hostages brought home. In that event, Israel would be under even more pressure to stop killing civilians in Gaza and destroying more of the Gazan infrastructure, maintaining the blockade of food, water and medical supplies. Israel should continue the charade of wanting to save the hostages but should continue to take minimal action to do so. Israel can then concentrate on efforts to replace the civilians in Gaza with Jewish settlers.
