@@EJK-is1do She learns that Lenny ran away from home when an anchor killed his own flesh and blood, Frankie. His father Don Lino always wanted his son to be like his brother
Looks like Oscar, Lenny and Don Lino learned an important lesson in this scene. Oscar learns that lying is not the best way to get people to like you. Lenny learned that running away from home doesn't solve family problems. And Don Lino learned that anger doesn't get you anywhere.
@@JustinCook-ob5ye They sure did. For Don Lino, Anger won’t get you anywhere and revenge won’t bring Frankie back. For Lenny, running away from home won’t help and solve your family problems, running away from home might put you in danger and might cause worse problems And Oscar, lying by pretending to be someone you’re not won’t be the best way to respect from others. It reminds when kids want to be popular to get respect from “The Cool Kids”, it’s not worth it.
@@erickbuckner4485 I agree 💯 and Don Lino isn't really a villain either, he's just blinded by grief and let his anger get the better of him. We've all been there and heck I lost my grandparents and aunts and uncles years ago and I was very sad and depressed about it and sooner or later I think of the memories I had with them especially with my grandparents and that's what we should all do rather than keeping our emotional feelings bundled up inside.
For some reason, it actually felt a bit ironic for Shark Tale to be nominated for an Oscar since some might say this could be one of the worst films DreamWorks has ever made, in other words, the producers/animators/writers/directors actually regretted making this movie exist due to it being so much similar to Finding Nemo, which actually explains a lot of some films they made being a disaster like The Wild, due to it being like Madagascar, or in tv shows case, Fish Hooks being bad due to it being like SpongeBob.
In the cases for the Wild and Fish Hooks, those are Disney-made content that ripped off other company properties. The Wild was a Disney film that poorly ripped off DreamWorks' Madagascar's franchise while Fish Hooks ripped off Paramount's SpongeBob. DreamWorks makes great products when they aren't trying to chase products made by Disney or Pixar (see Shrek, Prince of Egypt, Megamind 1, How to Train Your Dragon, pretty much all their new stuff that isn't Teenage Kraken, etc.), but the ones that are unfortunate to release within the same year or so while having similar set pieces usually get unfairly compared to Disney and Pixar films (like this film vs. Finding Nemo, Antz vs. Bug's Life, and so on). They're much better at not chasing Disney trends now since they definitely found their niche, but they had a bunch of clunkers in the 00's and early 10's.
This underrated DreamWorks movie doesn't deserve all the hate it gets. While it certainly isn't no Finding Nemo I think it's a great film. Sykes is my favorite, and Lenny is my second favorite character in Shark Tale. Despite them both eventually figuring out Oscar lied about being a sharkslayer they still supported him as his boss, and best friend. Also Shark Tale isn't a Finding Nemo rip-off. It's similar to Finding Nemo, but I don't see how a movie inspired by Jaws, and Godfather can be a copy of a heartwarming/emotional Pixar film where a father clownfish has to swim across the ocean to find his son who was taken by divers.🐠🐡🦈
@@KelanRooks What is your problem? So your son likes kelp. So his best friend's a fish. So he likes to dress like a dolphin. So what? Everybody loves him just the way he is. Why can't you? Don't make the same mistake that I did. I didn't know what I had until I lost it.
