Great video as always. After extensive research, I got the NB and did some speed session this morning for first time. I used to be a sprinter many decades ago and suffer from lots of problems. The 860 has the perfect balance of softness without that weird wobbly feeling I got on the 1080. I don’t need stability but noticed it stabilises the stride big time. Like it is mentioned here and by another RUclipsr, it has a unique construction. I highly recommend you giving it a try.
Im looking for a stability shoe as i tend to overpronate quite a bit and get ankle pain after running, the gait assessment recommended a few, GK 31and brooks adrenaline gts23 is the ones im deciding between, hows the brooks for longer runs ? And difference between them
So interesting. I subscribe. I wondered if you do a comparison for older women fearful of falling in city conditions of 1) iciness, black ice and 2) slushy slippy melti g snow/ice (very common in Scotland all winter as it is often not cold enough to stay firm). I appreciate thus may be about “soles” as well as stability. As you can imagine, a fall can be a life-changing awful event. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 thank you. I will share your “stability” video
Always enjoyed the gel kayano. Tried the on cloud runner , good shoe but that toe bumper is annoying on my ingrown toe nail issues. Would love to see a video on trail runners . Topo look interesting with the wide toe box fit but I’m not sure how stable they are.
I ordered the kayano 31, but i will use it for office, walking, trips From what i have read is the best in terms also of breathability and durability (NB seems low on this). Let's see I would also try to order some Brooks at some point, but not that available in Europe...
Yes I have videos reviewing these and they are great shoes but I can’t include them all. The Arahi and the Cloudrunner don’t have an intrusive medial piece which I explained in the video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
What are the reasons some shoes cause more “shaking”(i dunno a specific word) than other, like if I holding a bowl of soul, wen walking in some shoes the soup gonna shake and spill more than others. Is that indicate a bad shoes?
I think I understand what you mean. We can sometimes see that in a very soft high stack shoes like the New Balance 1080v13. It’s not necessarily bad but it can make your ankle stabiliser muscles work harder
@ I've watched all your videos, but I'm unsure which shoe is best for my low arches, overpronation, and wide feet. Could you help me choose the most suitable one?
@MoMohsen-u5w Gel kayano seems best as it is wider and has 4d guidance system to help with your overpronation, plan on getting a pair myself pretty soon
Yes it’s an excellent shoe especially the V12 but it’s a moderate stability shoe and the kayano is a max stability. I wanted to do one shoe from each brand with a range of mild, mod and max stability to give people options. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and hopefully you’ll enjoy some of of reviews and comparisons on the GT-2000 13
They all have different functions and purposes as I explained in the video and hopefully that allows you to make a decision of what shoe works best for you. Thanks for watching

I agree, they’ve done an amazing job!
Which one would you recommend for heel pain and plantar fasciitis?
We have videos on shoes for plantar fasciitis for each brand - hopefully they can provide your answer. Thanks for watching!
He said the New Balance 860, the last one in the vid

I have the perfect video for you in our catalogue that compares every aspect of them!
@james_mccormack ok thanks man, I'll check them out

Maybe something more like a road to trail shoe for the grip like the Asics Gt-2000 12 TR or Salomon Genesis Matryx

Topo are great and relatively stable as they are a low stack shoe. It might be worth considering the topo mountain racer 3

Often you can order directly from the US website and they deliver to Europe for free
I would suggest Saucony Hurricane or the Guide. I could not tolerate the N logo plastic piece on the NB 860 digging into my lateral side.

@@james_mccormack that is the exact shoes I'm wearing and have the problem haha, would any of the shoes in this video have the same issue?
@@mr.codename0012much firmer cushioning in the adrenaline and the hoka arahi
What shoes would you most recommend for low arch flat feet?
I cover this in the video and we have multiple videos on shoes for flat feet. Thanks for watching

We have a video on shoes for metatarsalgia
GT 2000 13💪🏾
Great shoe 👌
I'd put the GT2000 ahead of the Kayano allllll damn day.

If given only one choice among all the shoes, which one would you choose?
They all have different functions and purposes as I explained in the video and hopefully that allows you to make a decision of what shoe works best for you. Thanks for watching
