this movie does even has to do with the manga or the anime who is coming up octomber 2019?
It is based on the manga and anime but not exact story, just similar. It has been modified for live action. This 3rd movie Musubi will likely be the first half or 1/3 of season 3.

@@giwrgosgeragwtelhs3401 We will get the Tachi & Arata confession scene, Taichi rejection scene, and most of the stuff from the movie. The differences is the final team battle fight, Chihaya being Queen and some other part. This won't be in the anime as Musubi script was done before manga reach that point.
P.S - Do you want some spoiler as the manga will end this year or next year.

@@giwrgosgeragwtelhs3401 it is more inclined to Arata. Both guy confessed but Chihaya reject Taichi but not Arata. She say to Arata she want to defeat Queen first and play Karuta as much as possible before thinking about dating.
Basically, she is asking that she will give her answer to Arata when she become Queen.
Good looking or not. I'm always be on Team Taichi. I hate those Taichi fans who prefers Arata to be with Chihaya in the liveaction because He's much more good looking than Taichi.

I'm in between. I can't say I prefer taichi because he's always there for chihaya It is more of taking advantage or the convenience if it's the case. Arata can be there for chihaya too.
Taichi deserves better. All he did was to make Chihaya happy. We know he has been hiding his feelings for 6 years. He had a better chance, but he didn't want anything to change between them. Chihaya always sees Arata as someone she wants to achieve. On the other hand, Taichi saw Arata as a very valuable friend to him. In the midst of all this chaos. Arata stole the start and confess his feelings to Chihaya. Chihaya who is confused by this situation cannot give an answer. But, this has a bad impact on Taichi. Chihaya who had been unaware of Taichi liked him. She turned him down. Cause himself to leave the club for a while. If the ending Chihaya chooses Arata over Taichi. The mangaka was too cruel and all of Taichi's efforts had been in vain.

Are you sure with that “All he did was just make Chihaya happy”? You forgot that he told Suoh-Meijin He’s Chihaya’s boyfriend and that makes Chihaya was insulted by Suoh. This was called selfish. “Taichi saw Arata as a very valuable friend”, it should be Arata’s words He often send a mail to Taichi than Chihaya but Taichi always says Arata is his enemy. Taichi almost kiss Chihaya and that’s sexual harassment to me.Chihaya even rejected Taichi’s confession but he want to kiss her while Arata just want to hold Chihaya all he did is just shake her hand and hug his parents instead. Let’s see the fact! Sorry for my mistaken error grammar.

He started to play Karuta for Chihaya but ended up playing Karuta for himself because he fell in love with it... 🥺
pretty much the same as the black hair girl that likes Taichi. They deserve each other and yes I know who Chihaya ended up with in the manga. Arata and Chihaya started loving karuta immediately. Didn't start playing for the reason for the other person to fall in love with them

N thank you you are right if you feel that way, but let me tell you I love Taichis character more then anyone in the series how would you feel if you feel you couldn’t recognize the person you’ve been reading in the manga and anime when I saw this Taichi I felt uncomfortable because this isn’t the person whom I’ve been looking at the whole time it’s like a new character all the close ups and face shots that I’ve seen in the manga and anime is what’s familiar to me he truly is very special and I wish I wouldn’t feel indifferent but it’s just the truth it’s like you want me to accept someone as my mom that looks familiar to my mom but I know that it’s not her so like please

Taichi deserves better than Chihaya. I love Arata and Chihaya together but I would choose Taichi for myself. I'd marry Taichi. Sad about the manga ending like how Eren and Historia makes more sense but because of the overwhelming number of Eren and Mikasa fans, author himself admitted he changed the ending to make it less cliche.
