Tanjiro's been a big brother all his life to literally everyone. It's really nice that Giyu's become a sort of older brother that he can look up to as well.
Giyu has interacted with Tanjiro, 2 maybe 3 times at this point in the series. Even when he told him to take Nezuko and run, he didn't even remember who he was until he saw Nezuko laying there. You could hardly consider that to be anywhere near being a brother.

Just wanna let you know Nezuko's case is VERY rare. In this whole anime...there are only 3. YES. ONLY THREE good demons(Miss Tamayo, Yushiro and Nezuko) To the Hashiras, there are no good demons. The master knows Miss Tamayo, a good demon but the Hashiras has never met A single one..They think Tanjiro is just lying to protect his sister. To them, She is a demon who have devoured a lot of humans
The master didn't know of Lady Tamayo, not until Tanjiro met her and the crow eventually relayed that to the master. And Lady Tamayo wasn't always good either, she has killed plenty of people as her time as a demon, the only reason she is freed from Muzan is because a certain something happened which I can't explain because that would be spoilers, and Yushiro was never created by muzan. So other than nezuko, Demons are essentially 100% evil who are controlled by muzan

They're not passionate about demons, they're passionate about killing them. Theres no reason to try and understand because there are no known demons that dont eat humans, from their perspective they probably think tanjiro is just hiding the fact that nezuko has eaten humans.
Giyu and Tanjiro are both Water Breathers because they've been trained by Urokodaki, a water breather as well. It was explained earlier that there are many and different kinds of trainers so yea there are most likely slayers with the same breathing technique. But there are some people who have developed their own breathing techniques like Inosuke, whose beast breathing was self-taught. Ps** I'm just an anime watcher like you guys, i don't read manga**
Definitely the episode that cemented my love for Giyuu-san! Yes, he was the one who brought Tanjiro and Nezuko to his Master, the FORMER WATER HASHIRA Urokodaki-san in the first place, so from then on he would take them as one of his responsibility until the end. UNTIL THE END. Even if his life is one the line.. I love Giyuu-san, my most favorite character in tbis series!
I like them for not hating Sanemi for stabbing Nezuko. Many of the reactors started hating him without thinking Sanemi's pov ✌️Also Sanemi is favourite Hashira 💨

The one thing I think is important to realize is that Nezuko is like one in a billion. The only demons that we know of that have ever rebelled against Muzan or even had the ability to do so are Nezuko, Tamayo and her ward. So knowing that 99.9% of the demon population are savage murderers puts into perspective the Demon Slayers actions.
also the fact that nobody even knows that Lady Tamayo even exists and even she was only able to get free from muzans control because of a certain reason I can't explain because that would be spoilers. So not counting nezuko, it's pretty much 100% over a millennia
Fun Fact: Sanemi has a special type of blood that demons cant resist. They're intoxicated by just the smell of it. Thats why he was so sure Nezuko wouldn't be able to resist his blood.

I get what you mean, but at the same time that was a trial where they decide the fate of those two. Obviously they want to get it over with because "obviously she's a hungry man eating demon", but they could have at least waited a damn minute for their master to show up before stabbing her. 😭
Rui wasn't the second weakest he was the second lowest ranking. he didn't care about ranks and would be LM 2 or 3 if he wanted. he also was sharing his power with his "family" also the tall guy is blind he has pupils but they are very lightly colored due to being blind so it's hard to see them
I think just the first episode is worth watching then the movie because you see it all through unlike cliffhangers in which they'll have to wait longer as in the movie you don't watch it all at once

Yes, you have seen the Master of the Mansion twice, the first time was during the final selection when he was talking to his crow and the second time was with Giyuu and Shinobu when he was sending them to the mountain. If you guys are going to watch the Mugen Train Movie then I recommend you that when you finish watching the movie, y’all should watch the first episode of the Mugen Train Arc, the Mugen Train Arc is basically the movie but with new scenes that weren’t in the movie! Didin't expect to hear him say that “good do it! " haha so I think watching the movie is a great choice I do recommend watching just the first episode of the mugen train episode version since that's pretty much what wasint in the movie and if you do definitely without seeing the opening because it's spoilerish and I want to see the surprise faces you guys will get but you don't have to i just thought you get to see a little bit more of rengoku but definitely watch the movie instead of the episode versions it's the best way.

The movie IS season 2. episodes 2-7 to be exact. You guys do you, but I would suggest just watching season 2 instead on the movie. Idk why Demon Slayer did it that way, but it confuses a lot of people.
I'm glad they made it to a movie the chance to seeing it in theaters is just an amazing feeling only the first episode is worth it and seeing the movie is more impactful then getting cliffhangers every episode with the movie you get to grasp it all.
Just a reminder for you guys that first 7 episodes of second season is a movie recap, but the first episode of second season is its own episode that was not put in the movie. So technically second season have 18 episodes, but second season actually start on episode 8. maybe what you guys could do is either dont watch the movie and just go straight into second season since there are some secret scenes that were not in the movie, and funny endings. But you guys wouldnt be able to experience the movie in one reaction. Or just watch the movie for patron and watch the first episode of season 2 and skip to episode 8 when the new arc starts. I have an idea that i’ve been seeing people do with movie reactions, they upload their full reaction without the video and with little sound or no sound, and also with a timer so people can watch along with the reactors. Slight correction, Rui and Todoroki both have Yuki Kaji as their VA, Sabito is also voiced by Yuki Kaji. The rest are correct though. Fun fact: Yuki Kaji's most well-known role at the moment is Eren Jeager from Attack on Titan.

Try very hard to avoid reading comments, even if they are trying to correct you on things, Demon Slayer does a really good job of explaining everything as you watch. Unless you have a specific question that you think the show might not touch back on, like a fallen demon or the ranking system of both the demon slayers and demons, dont read too many comments lol The genuine reactions, ideas and guesses you guys have are great to see, shows you are invested in the story and not just watching. Wish it was Friday already Also watch out for the last names, some translations or relationship of the characters, they will refer to each other by last name too lol if you have trouble remembering the names rewatch the episodes in english if you have to.

This fan sub had some weird translations here and there, but I guess overall it was ok. Regarding the Master, you’ve seen him twice before: the first time was just from his back as he learned from the crows that 5 had passed the Final Selection. The second time was during the Mt Natagumo arc when he learned from a crow that barely made it back alive that there were strong demons there, so he suspected there might be a Twelve Kizuki and thus asked Tomioka Giyu and Kocho Shinobu to head off there. We never got to see his face till now though. As for the theory if he’s related to Muzan… just remember one thing: Muzan is over a thousand years old. If they were related, it would have to be very distantly. Like, for instance, it is said that one in every 200 men alive today are related to Genghis Khan. ^_^
About Shinobu: she is just doing her job. We watch with the point of view of Tanjiro so we want them to try to understand them but why not trying to understand from the point of view of Shinobu?! In the other slayers' point of view, demons should be killed, why listen to them? (see how the hashiras' reactions are pretty much the same: break the code, kill the demon. Some even has stronger reactions than Shinobu's) Giyu also tried to kill Nezuko, he simply saw her protecting her brother but in Shinobu's case, she can't see Nezuko doing that at that moment (also she has her story and reason too). Even with Tanjiro's explanation, it may not be easy to trust because family member can be biased with his story. They have to see it, to believe it. Giyu not only saw Nezuko's protecting her brother but knew the fact that she never eats humans even after two years. Giyu knows she is different now. He made decision to spare them two years ago, IF Nezuko eats human, that will show that his decision was not a wise one esp as hashira. For them, one human life is important. If Nezuko kills one, Giyu is willing to suicide for the lost of life (if Nezuko kills even just one human, for Giyu: if he killed Nezuko two years ago, she won't kill human at all so it's my fault with wrong decision). That's why there are backstories to everyone (slayers and demons) in the show. We just need to keep our mind open for the characters even though first impression may not be good. This is not blaming you or something because you are doing GREAT and you have nice reactions and I enjoy seeing you enjoying the show. We do come from knowing the future stories but for me, simple I like Shinobu since first sight (before even knowing the future stories) and I like her more after knowing her stories. I like all characters for different reasons. Can't wait for your reaction for next episode~ 💖

After finishing the manga, I think Sanemi (the Wind Hashira) has the fking shittiest life out of all characters in the whole series, by a large margin. To the point that I think the mangaka hates him lol. Living like that I would stab Nezuko too ngl.
I love Sanemi, but he was still an asshole. Whenever I say that people assume that I mean that he is horrible for no reason, but you can still have a horrible life and have a good reason for doing something, while being an asshole lol. also the stabbings are necessary because nezuko needs to eat to heal so that would prove herself better that she won't eat humans. Alot of reactors hates him because of that lmfao he's one of my favourite characters
Spoiler alert..... (Edit: Manga spoiler) I didn't link the fact that Sanemi was a Marechi, and Nezuko was able to resist that. That is amazing. Even the strongest demons got drunk by just the smell of his blood.

Honestly the episode version of Mugen Train would probably be better for content sake but I honestly love the movie so much and really think it should be watched all in one go to feel the pace of everything and not be interrupted.

They released it as a movie to capitalize on the extra money from it and to hype you up for the rest of the season while they were still finishing up creating the entertainment district
@@mastixencounter You make it sound like a bad thing with the capitalisation (as if there's a single corporation in the world not guilty of stuff like this) but the end result was one of the most visually stunning and just all round great movies I've seen. The arc, by comparison, just didn't deliver as well as the movie. If there were no movie, I'd definitely like the arc, but I wouldn't find it that special. Seeing the arc after that movie is disappointing though - it's a watered down experience, even with the extra scenes and some polish. There are 0 good reasons to pick the arc over the movie - you gain like 1 scene that I could remember, and it's very insignificant. Just to make things 10 times worse though, the movie is spoiled in the opening - particularly the existence of the Akaza fight (not saying I dislike the opening, it's great if you ignore/tolerate the spoiler) which is meant to come as a surprise. Just to be clear, I'm not at all calling the arc bad, it's just not better than the movie in any meaningful way.

So something im sure a lot of people get confused with is that anyone can learn multiple breathing styles its just that they are only ever good at the one style meant for them like for example later on in the next season tanjiro says that water breathing is not as strong as it should be because its not the breathing style meant for him but instead the Hinokomi Kagura is whats most suited to him.
I don't really want to spoiler them for later episode's it's just that understanding this will let them know why some users of the same breathing style are some much stronger and I'm pretty sure that the idea of people using multiple breathings is almost never spoken of.

I just wanted to say that the wind hashira does has a blood related to that one survivor of final selection who has scar in his face (his name is Genya btw) Edit: and also!! Your speculation about relation of the characters are pretty on point! You guys are seriously have a good sense of details on the characters and connected the dots with ease. Im amazed!
Also just a reminder that the breathing techniques, or the "elements" aren't like special powers in other anime. Think of them like martial arts; one character might specialise in jujitsu, while another in boxing. Doesn't mean they can't switch over, they're just more skilled or practiced in the one art. Some people might even be training in boxing when they're actually more suited to taekwondo.

I am SHOOK by some of the observations and predictions/wild theories you guys are making. Great observations! Also I'm sure pple have already explained, but to add my two cents: Think of the other Demon Slayers as people who lost their family and home to a fire, then they became firefighters so that no one else would have to suffer that same pain. They're risking their own necks fighting fire, and have seen comrades die to fire too. Now, in comes a newbie firefighter with a lit match. WTF are you doing, kid. That's a fire. That's gonna hurt and kill people, if it hasn't already. We gotta put it out. And the kid is like "no, this little fire won't hurt anyone, it's cold fire!" and that may be true but your don't know that yet, logically it makes no sense, of course you're not going to believe this newbie, and can't he see that everyone here has been burned before??
Guys, I just want to tell you that it is better to choose between the movie and the season, and if you choose to watch the movie first, you will watch all the events of the entire season as if it spoils the events, but if you watch the season first, you will watch the events in order, but it will be longer.. .. I suggest that you first watch the first episode of the season and then the movie and you will not miss any event and it will take you a shorter time until you enter the third season and what ever you choose we are with you 🔥🔥🔥 Very excited for your reaction and also happy belated birthday to you 💗
I hope you guys know that the first half of S2 IS the mugen train movie(except S2 Ep1 which is entirely original but absolutely incredible) so watching the movie for Patreon and then watching the episodes for RUclips is just watching it twice. Also if you watch the movie you should still watch S2 Ep1 before, it really adds to it
I'd recommend after the film. You appreciate it more. His final Umai, his father/son contrast, how he got the bento, etc. I mean, it was released after the film. So majority of the fans watched the episode after the film.
So fun fact the master and kibutsuji are actually related, though from a very old family connection from a thousand years ago, and its basically the kagayas family lineage mission to kill muzan in every generation. also his family is cursed where as they grow older every child will be weak and die.

The same way how I got annoyed with certain characters in any anime at first but had to take it all back to give my praise, love and admiration to a character after finding out a certain perspective. **clears throat** U. Itachi **cough cough** I will say this though, I'd be a bit sad if you guys hated my favorite characters. But it can't be helped if that happens. To each their own after all. Still love u guys. That is a good insight. That we should strive to understand rather than kill, kill, kill, execute, execute, execute. But I don't believe that in the times that Demon Slayer takes place that people were quite so sensitive as we are now. If Demon Slayer took place nowadays I am sure that a lot more people would approach the situation like Tanjiro and try to understand rather than kill. But back then the first reaction to anything different, especially something that ate humans was "it must be eliminated".
You also have to take in consideration that the Hashira have always seen demons as evil. They have never seen a good demon besides Yushiro and Ms. Tamayo. Only 2 other demons besides Nezuko have ever been known not to eat humans. Giyuu was more opened minded because he saw for himself that Nezuko protected Tanjirou even though she was starving.
I think is easy to be open minded because you are watching as a 3rd pov, when you are not really in the seat of the suffered ones. The truth is if it was me that went through what most of the slayers did, watching my family and comrades die throughout the years, I wouldn't bat an eye to a demon, or feel enough empathy for them. Though ofc you may be just be a nicer person than me and that's fine, but I can say majority of ppl won't be very open minded and from their perspective it is justified as well.
Let me just say, you have straight up guessed right several important details about the characters and events in this video. To those who know and read the manga, you know they've said some correct speculations. Kinda impressive how you guys are almost always so close or exact on your guesses. Also, it's important to remember why the Hashira are so against the idea of a Demon travelling with a Slayer.
I think a big point of this story and it's characters is that they come across one way when you meet them and you're supposed to learn about them as Tanjiro does.

Demon slayer movie is just like the first part of it's season 2. So if I were you guys, just watch the season 2, coz it's more detailed than the movie and you won't be spoiled if you watch the 2nd season of it!!!
You do if they watch the opening I think the movie is more impactful they'll get to grasp it all only the first episode is worth watching then the movie other then the first episode barley any added scenes that make it better basic the same.

As far as pretty much every Demon Slayer is confirmed - all demons are irreversibly human eating machines, and beyond control, so they have to kill them, with Tamayo & Yushiro being the only exceptions they knew about (or at least the master knew). It doesn't matter how passionate Shinobu was about demons, as far as she's concerned, the only way to deal with a demon is to kill it. Honestly fair enough - it's true in like 99.9% of cases. Tl;dr - the Hashira don't know that Nezuko is clearly special in some way, and regard her as just another demon. Extra note: It's understandable that you'd expect Shinobu to be more empathetic, since you've spent the entire show with a character that has empathy towards everything, and they're the main character so you're obviously rooting for them, which sometimes makes you forget that there are still multiple perspectives here and we only know Tanjiro is in the right because he's the MC and if they killed Nezuko, the show would end. Ignoring any of that, honestly their perspective is very reasonable. Thought I'd point this out since a lot of people have what I'm gonna call MC bias in simple shows like this, where the MC is clearly always gonna be in the right to the audience. Extra extra note: There's some irony in that you call out commenters for not realising that they have more information than you guys, and you guys are just giving genuine reactions, but make the same exact mistake with the show. You guys have more info than the Hashira - their stance isn't 'wrong' - it's their genuine, and reasonable in most cases, reaction.

The master didn't know of Lady Tamayo, not until Tanjiro met her and the crow eventually relayed that to the master. And Lady Tamayo wasn't always good either, she has killed plenty of people as her time as a demon, the only reason she is freed from Muzan is because a certain something happened which I can't explain because that would be spoilers, and Yushiro was never created by muzan. So other than nezuko, Demons are essentially 100% evil who are controlled by muzan

Giyu and Tanjiro are both Water Breathers because they've been trained by Urokodaki, a water breather as well. It was explained earlier that there are many and different kinds of trainers so yea there are most likely slayers with the same breathing technique. But there are some people who have developed their own breathing techniques like Inosuke, whose beast breathing was self-taught.

Definitely the episode that cemented my love for Giyuu-san! Yes, he was the one who brought Tanjiro and Nezuko to his Master, the FORMER WATER HASHIRA Urokodaki-san in the first place, so from then on he would take them as one of his responsibility until the end. UNTIL THE END. Even if his life is one the line.. I love Giyuu-san, my most favorite character in tbis series!

I get where Sanemi is coming from (not just from this scene but also later when you learn his backstory), but he's still kind of a dick.
The one thing I think is important to realize is that Nezuko is like one in a billion. The only demons that we know of that have ever rebelled against Muzan or even had the ability to do so are Nezuko, Tamayo and her ward. So knowing that 99.9% of the demon population are savage murderers puts into perspective the Demon Slayers actions.
also the fact that nobody even knows that Lady Tamayo even exists and even she was only able to get free from muzans control because of a certain reason I can't explain because that would be spoilers. So not counting nezuko, it's pretty much 100% over a millennia
Fun Fact: Sanemi has a special type of blood that demons cant resist. They're intoxicated by just the smell of it. Thats why he was so sure Nezuko wouldn't be able to resist his blood.

Yes, you have seen the Master of the Mansion twice, the first time was during the final selection when he was talking to his crow and the second time was with Giyuu and Shinobu when he was sending them to the mountain.
If you guys are going to watch the Mugen Train Movie then I recommend you that when you finish watching the movie, y’all should watch the first episode of the Mugen Train Arc, the Mugen Train Arc is basically the movie but with new scenes that weren’t in the movie!

" haha so I think watching the movie is a great choice I do recommend watching just the first episode of the mugen train episode version since that's pretty much what wasint in the movie and if you do definitely without seeing the opening because it's spoilerish and I want to see the surprise faces you guys will get but you don't have to i just thought you get to see a little bit more of rengoku but definitely watch the movie instead of the episode versions it's the best way.

The movie IS season 2. episodes 2-7 to be exact. You guys do you, but I would suggest just watching season 2 instead on the movie. Idk why Demon Slayer did it that way, but it confuses a lot of people.
I'm glad they made it to a movie the chance to seeing it in theaters is just an amazing feeling only the first episode is worth it and seeing the movie is more impactful then getting cliffhangers every episode with the movie you get to grasp it all.
Just a reminder for you guys that first 7 episodes of second season is a movie recap, but the first episode of second season is its own episode that was not put in the movie. So technically second season have 18 episodes, but second season actually start on episode 8. maybe what you guys could do is either dont watch the movie and just go straight into second season since there are some secret scenes that were not in the movie, and funny endings. But you guys wouldnt be able to experience the movie in one reaction. Or just watch the movie for patron and watch the first episode of season 2 and skip to episode 8 when the new arc starts.

Unless you have a specific question that you think the show might not touch back on, like a fallen demon or the ranking system of both the demon slayers and demons, dont read too many comments lol

This fan sub had some weird translations here and there, but I guess overall it was ok. Regarding the Master, you’ve seen him twice before: the first time was just from his back as he learned from the crows that 5 had passed the Final Selection. The second time was during the Mt Natagumo arc when he learned from a crow that barely made it back alive that there were strong demons there, so he suspected there might be a Twelve Kizuki and thus asked Tomioka Giyu and Kocho Shinobu to head off there. We never got to see his face till now though. As for the theory if he’s related to Muzan… just remember one thing: Muzan is over a thousand years old. If they were related, it would have to be very distantly. Like, for instance, it is said that one in every 200 men alive today are related to Genghis Khan. ^_^
That Mist Hashira muichiro has a amnesia that's why he doesn't know the name of the bird "crow" and he's a bit quiet too

About Shinobu: she is just doing her job. We watch with the point of view of Tanjiro so we want them to try to understand them but why not trying to understand from the point of view of Shinobu?! In the other slayers' point of view, demons should be killed, why listen to them? (see how the hashiras' reactions are pretty much the same: break the code, kill the demon. Some even has stronger reactions than Shinobu's) Giyu also tried to kill Nezuko, he simply saw her protecting her brother but in Shinobu's case, she can't see Nezuko doing that at that moment (also she has her story and reason too). Even with Tanjiro's explanation, it may not be easy to trust because family member can be biased with his story. They have to see it, to believe it. Giyu not only saw Nezuko's protecting her brother but knew the fact that she never eats humans even after two years. Giyu knows she is different now. He made decision to spare them two years ago, IF Nezuko eats human, that will show that his decision was not a wise one esp as hashira. For them, one human life is important. If Nezuko kills one, Giyu is willing to suicide for the lost of life (if Nezuko kills even just one human, for Giyu: if he killed Nezuko two years ago, she won't kill human at all so it's my fault with wrong decision). That's why there are backstories to everyone (slayers and demons) in the show. We just need to keep our mind open for the characters even though first impression may not be good. This is not blaming you or something because you are doing GREAT and you have nice reactions and I enjoy seeing you enjoying the show. We do come from knowing the future stories but for me, simple I like Shinobu since first sight (before even knowing the future stories) and I like her more after knowing her stories. I like all characters for different reasons. Can't wait for your reaction for next episode~ 💖

They released it as a movie to capitalize on the extra money from it and to hype you up for the rest of the season while they were still finishing up creating the entertainment district
@@mastixencounter You make it sound like a bad thing with the capitalisation (as if there's a single corporation in the world not guilty of stuff like this) but the end result was one of the most visually stunning and just all round great movies I've seen. The arc, by comparison, just didn't deliver as well as the movie. If there were no movie, I'd definitely like the arc, but I wouldn't find it that special. Seeing the arc after that movie is disappointing though - it's a watered down experience, even with the extra scenes and some polish. There are 0 good reasons to pick the arc over the movie - you gain like 1 scene that I could remember, and it's very insignificant. Just to make things 10 times worse though, the movie is spoiled in the opening - particularly the existence of the Akaza fight (not saying I dislike the opening, it's great if you ignore/tolerate the spoiler) which is meant to come as a surprise.
Just to be clear, I'm not at all calling the arc bad, it's just not better than the movie in any meaningful way.

So something im sure a lot of people get confused with is that anyone can learn multiple breathing styles its just that they are only ever good at the one style meant for them like for example later on in the next season tanjiro says that water breathing is not as strong as it should be because its not the breathing style meant for him but instead the Hinokomi Kagura is whats most suited to him.
Quoting second season on a reviewers channel who hasn't finished season one, tsk tsk.
I don't really want to spoiler them for later episode's it's just that understanding this will let them know why some users of the same breathing style are some much stronger and I'm pretty sure that the idea of people using multiple breathings is almost never spoken of.

Also just a reminder that the breathing techniques, or the "elements" aren't like special powers in other anime. Think of them like martial arts; one character might specialise in jujitsu, while another in boxing. Doesn't mean they can't switch over, they're just more skilled or practiced in the one art. Some people might even be training in boxing when they're actually more suited to taekwondo.

Think of the other Demon Slayers as people who lost their family and home to a fire, then they became firefighters so that no one else would have to suffer that same pain. They're risking their own necks fighting fire, and have seen comrades die to fire too.

Guys, I just want to tell you that it is better to choose between the movie and the season, and if you choose to watch the movie first, you will watch all the events of the entire season as if it spoils the events, but if you watch the season first, you will watch the events in order, but it will be longer.. ..

I hope you guys know that the first half of S2 IS the mugen train movie(except S2 Ep1 which is entirely original but absolutely incredible) so watching the movie for Patreon and then watching the episodes for RUclips is just watching it twice.
Also if you watch the movie you should still watch S2 Ep1 before, it really adds to it
I'd recommend after the film. You appreciate it more. His final Umai, his father/son contrast, how he got the bento, etc. I mean, it was released after the film. So majority of the fans watched the episode after the film.
So fun fact the master and kibutsuji are actually related, though from a very old family connection from a thousand years ago, and its basically the kagayas family lineage mission to kill muzan in every generation. also his family is cursed where as they grow older every child will be weak and die.

Exactly and precisely what Ginger Ron said. I really wanted a more genuine reaction. The same way how I got annoyed with certain characters in any anime at first but had to take it all back to give my praise, love and admiration to a character after finding out a certain perspective.

That is a good insight. That we should strive to understand rather than kill, kill, kill, execute, execute, execute. But I don't believe that in the times that Demon Slayer takes place that people were quite so sensitive as we are now. If Demon Slayer took place nowadays I am sure that a lot more people would approach the situation like Tanjiro and try to understand rather than kill. But back then the first reaction to anything different, especially something that ate humans was "it must be eliminated".
You also have to take in consideration that the Hashira have always seen demons as evil. They have never seen a good demon besides Yushiro and Ms. Tamayo. Only 2 other demons besides Nezuko have ever been known not to eat humans. Giyuu was more opened minded because he saw for himself that Nezuko protected Tanjirou even though she was starving.
I think is easy to be open minded because you are watching as a 3rd pov, when you are not really in the seat of the suffered ones. The truth is if it was me that went through what most of the slayers did, watching my family and comrades die throughout the years, I wouldn't bat an eye to a demon, or feel enough empathy for them. Though ofc you may be just be a nicer person than me and that's fine, but I can say majority of ppl won't be very open minded and from their perspective it is justified as well.

Let me just say, you have straight up guessed right several important details about the characters and events in this video.
To those who know and read the manga, you know they've said some correct speculations.
Kinda impressive how you guys are almost always so close or exact on your guesses.
Also, it's important to remember why the Hashira are so against the idea of a Demon travelling with a Slayer.
Obanai (Serpent hashira) was surprised that Tanjiro hit Shinazugawa, this is because Shinazugawa is the 2/9 hashira, he is the second strongest
I think a big point of this story and it's characters is that they come across one way when you meet them and you're supposed to learn about them as Tanjiro does.

Demon slayer movie is just like the first part of it's season 2. So if I were you guys, just watch the season 2, coz it's more detailed than the movie and you won't be spoiled if you watch the 2nd season of it!!!
You do if they watch the opening I think the movie is more impactful they'll get to grasp it all only the first episode is worth watching then the movie other then the first episode barley any added scenes that make it better basic the same.

As far as pretty much every Demon Slayer is confirmed - all demons are irreversibly human eating machines, and beyond control, so they have to kill them, with Tamayo & Yushiro being the only exceptions they knew about (or at least the master knew). It doesn't matter how passionate Shinobu was about demons, as far as she's concerned, the only way to deal with a demon is to kill it. Honestly fair enough - it's true in like 99.9% of cases.
Tl;dr - the Hashira don't know that Nezuko is clearly special in some way, and regard her as just another demon.
Extra note: It's understandable that you'd expect Shinobu to be more empathetic, since you've spent the entire show with a character that has empathy towards everything, and they're the main character so you're obviously rooting for them, which sometimes makes you forget that there are still multiple perspectives here and we only know Tanjiro is in the right because he's the MC and if they killed Nezuko, the show would end. Ignoring any of that, honestly their perspective is very reasonable. Thought I'd point this out since a lot of people have what I'm gonna call MC bias in simple shows like this, where the MC is clearly always gonna be in the right to the audience.
Extra extra note: There's some irony in that you call out commenters for not realising that they have more information than you guys, and you guys are just giving genuine reactions, but make the same exact mistake with the show. You guys have more info than the Hashira - their stance isn't 'wrong' - it's their genuine, and reasonable in most cases, reaction.
