never seen anything like this, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the episode and now knowing that the character who plays Theo is actually deaf just is the cherry on the cake. Bravo!
This was "the episode" best part was that this was so quiet that I could hear my own breathing and suspence in it was wow . Characters were so good and Theo guy is really good . Can't wait for coming episodes
God episode seven was a BEAST of an episode. It really shows that everyone in the production tean brought their A Game when one of their best episodes no dialogue up until the final scene. Just got into this show last week and finished it. They better greenlit a season two. And I hope Theo comes back somehow
I loved this episode. I'm really hoping Disney/Marvel takes notes as to how well this works. My favorite issue of the Fraction/Aja Hawkeye run is where Clint loses his hearing and they take out everyone else's text.
I loved this episode, and I didn’t even notice there wasn’t much speaking until my husband noticed that the whole episode was almost silent. Obviously I was riveted enough to not notice anything different about the episode. I LOVE the characters in this series, especially the strong female characters. Literally a breath of fresh air, I hope other directors realize what they have been missing out on.
Honestly it was my favourite episode because of wonderfully it was done. I honestly didn't realise for a good while that I hadn't heard dialogue like the other eps. I ws so enthralled in Theo's character
this is a great episode! one of my favorites for all time. just masterfully made. it's my first time to watch nathan lane in dramatic scenes. hope to see James Caverly in more shows/movies.
Speechless.. Quite really. It actually confirmed redundantly, quite intentionally it seems, over how many viewers don't actually pay attention when watching TV in general - including this show. Only pinchful of complaints made sense, as always. Not throwing fancy buzzwords like “gimmick”, “masturbatory” & “plot hole”( the last one being the most-abused) around. I also noted that in lieu of gorno, this episode also had the most-graphic content deserving of "TV-MA" classification - even if they did kept it constrained to FX®-grade, as confirmed in interviews such as the official-podcast. Last but not the least.. Although she's not named here, Ma'am Cherien D'a'bis did an extremely great job bringing this to life. Here, she's also extremely generous with her identity-markers. _Cf._ Asian-American _vs_ Korean-American. Impeccable sound-design in this episode, as well.
I just watched this - like any respectable movie/tv villain, Theo probably had a weapon, and forced oliver to tie up mabel or vice versa before tying the remaining one up himself.
Theo was definitely one of the standouts of the entire series. He shows more emotion in the twinge of an eyebrow than some actors can with their entire body! He’s so talented. And him & Selena have excellent chemistry even just with Mabel and Theo being friends.
The subtitles are not perfectly timed to ASL because the grammar and word order of the two languages are different. Her signing of _f**k_ in the two instances was probably done with her hands out of the frame or with the camera shooting from behind her.
the "boy" was referring to what happened 10 years earlier, when Zoe , on the roof, refers to him as the Boy from 6B. He was 10 years younger then... And they probably knew him from before, since they grew up in the building pretty much together...
It’s been five episodes of Season 4 already still no sign of Theo, or Teddy who wasn’t in Season 3. Please bring this duo back, it’s not like OMITB without them.
Does anyone know the name of (or where I can find it) the sombre piano piece that plays when Charles and Mabel are inside Theo's apartment? It's obviously a very slow, piano version of the show's main theme, but it's so hauntingly brilliant and doesn't appear to be on the official OST?
Nathan Lane ❤️ Is so underrated in Hollywood, for 20 years. Shame Hollywood, shame. The Birdcage, Mousehunt, The Producers, Guys and Dolls, Love valor compassion, The Front Page, The Addams familly, Lisbon Triviata, The Nance ❤️, A Funny Thing happened in the way on the forum, Angels in America 👏, American Crime story, Penny dreadful City of angels (one of the best rôle in TV or movie).
It is the most intense episode even though they didn’t say a single word!
I thought i was bugging I thought the sound was messed up
Indeed. Nathan Lane and James Caverly is so awesome. The best épisode in Season for me.
I now see why Tim told Mabel to act as if they don't know each other. He was protecting her from the Theo's father who threatened him
You just blew my mind.
never seen anything like this, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the episode and now knowing that the character who plays Theo is actually deaf just is the cherry on the cake. Bravo!
This is one of the best and most creative pieces of television I've seen in a while
It was creative but I hope the other episodes aren't all like that. I can see it in small doses to be like that but not the whole story.
@@cheri7054 I think this is just a one time thing for this episode.
This show has been a delight.
1000% was fantastic
This was "the episode" best part was that this was so quiet that I could hear my own breathing and suspence in it was wow . Characters were so good and Theo guy is really good . Can't wait for coming episodes
Surprisingly fun episode. Never realised it could be such fun even without dialogue
IT was interesting at first but it was too much. I hope the next episode won't be like that.
factssss
This episode gave me goosebumps!! The actor playing Theo really killed it!!

wish granted
this episode was thoroughly amazing. amazing acting, amazing screenwriting, amazing representation. i really felt a kind of sympathy towards theo.
{ONLY-&-ONLY TO "THE OP" & THOSE WHO "👍" THAT COMMENT: }But not ‘amazing direction’?
Huh...
This show is SUPER UNDERRATED
Just wait until next year at the Emmys and the Golden Globes.
It's the number one stream on Hulu. Hope it gets some awards!
I'n surprised nobody talks about the show, the trailer had 12 million views but not many people actually watch it. Hulu is very underrated
No it’s not lol, it’s super popular in us and Canada
@@ellienas5179 everyone watched it on Disney+ lol that’s why
This episode absolutely blew me away. If it isn't nominated for an Emmy, I'll be at a loss for words.
Literally one of THE best episodes I've ever seen. It was amazing!
Just finished the series and this episode in particular really blew me away. Very creative and very powerful.
One of the best episodes of any show I’ve ever seen.
one of the best episodes! I was blown away at how well it was done! The creative team on this show is so talented!
I loved this episode. I'm really hoping Disney/Marvel takes notes as to how well this works. My favorite issue of the Fraction/Aja Hawkeye run is where Clint loses his hearing and they take out everyone else's text.
This. Is. Disney!
Very clever how they did this episode! RESPECT ✊🏾

This was such a brilliant episode it made you pay full attention which was really good. James Caverly is such a brilliant actor
this episode had the most suspense without an words being said and i loved it so much
The best episode ever!👏🏻
Honestly it was my favourite episode because of wonderfully it was done. I honestly didn't realise for a good while that I hadn't heard dialogue like the other eps. I ws so enthralled in Theo's character
the greatest episode to ever hit screens
seriously.... deserves all the awards

This is the best episode ever 😱
Amazing episode, just started rewatching this series and I forgot how good this was
I’m glad they used a deaf actor for Theo. Shows real progress in entertainment
This episode was 🔥🔥🔥
Still one of my favorite episodes!
Zoe was right.
Theo is hot. ☺
I can stare at his eyes all day while I try to remember how to say "You're hot" in ASL. 😄
this episode is so underrated sooooo everything is so perfect!!! best episode ever!!
Emmy for theo, please.
this episode is really brilliant writing
This was the best episode ever.

Loved this episode! Btw, in the end of the episode how did he manage to tie both of them up when it was 1 against 2 LOLL
I'm wondering that also lol
Yeah but I mean... One of those 2 was Oliver so 🤣
@@aleannyhuerta3354 😆😆

2:20 If you're going to censor the text you should probably blur the gesture onscreen as well.
The subtitles are not perfectly timed to ASL because the grammar and word order of the two languages are different. Her signing of _f**k_ in the two instances was probably done with her hands out of the frame or with the camera shooting from behind her.
I know, riighhtt?
I don't get the stupidity of even premium-cablers/streamers censoring strong-language from BTS material.
Creative and so good.
Theo was amazing in this episode
Good episode. My only issue with it was “the boy” looked about 38
the "boy" was referring to what happened 10 years earlier, when Zoe , on the roof, refers to him as the Boy from 6B. He was 10 years younger then... And they probably knew him from before, since they grew up in the building pretty much together...

I freaking loved it 😍
Muito bom os atores, e o 7 episodio me surpreendeu .
Best episode and that's not saying much.
"Not saying much." I see what you did there.
Wow….
I was totally wrong about who threw the woman off the roof.
Yeah, include the audience much more :-)

Can anyone tell me why Mabel and Oliver went to the memorial in the first place? And how did they find out Theo was the password?
They found the name of the funeral home on the bottom of one of the urns. I think the password was just a guess.
@@madison51307 ooh okay... thank youuuu!!!!

Unironically, that's also how long the career of the director is - as well!
I really don't like Zoe feel like she was horrible

Okay, Sonny!
I didn't like this one :\ is frustrating to watch.
