he has failed lipsync before on a tv show (singing SOS) but it was a lil before singer 2017 but I heard from other Dimash fans its very common in Russia and Kazakhstan to lipsync also I have found another 2 performances (a rehearsal which looks off and maybe a failed playback video of him) hes still great but he has lipsynced its very obvious after you find out not that it takes away from his talent hes 1 of the very few singers I listen to and the only one I watch the second he comes out with a new performance :) im sure you can be forced to lipsync also a good example is his Slavic bazaar 2015 his blizzard again and SOS is live but his daididau is really off also his parents look like they are always lipsinging even the simple parts of songs if it is true then he was brought up with it and its really normal for him also more than 90% of his performances before singer look lipsynced (not that its true but there really hasn't been a lot analysed from the younger Dimash) but since he got so popular (which he was not expecting) he now doesn't lipsync as much unless its Chinese songs or tv show or events hope you don't see me as a hater :) this is just a theory so don't take any of it seriously but shouldnt be ignored either

You can see the reactions of the audience. It was a standing O! Even from the jury(s) of the competition!! They are all professionals in their field. Surely they know IF it is a lipsync. Why bother standing up? Playback can be doctored. He is not famous yet... who knows the playback is autotuned etc? Why bother with mic checking? In Lipsync rehearsals, you only need to learn "blocking". Why bother making a new recording just for this performance? (Recordings are not cheap) this is not like he has a CD that he can play anytime. This is the first and last time he sings this song. This song isnt his. 😑 And those who tell u that the rehearsal and live are EXACTLY the same... ugh Compare the rehearsal and the FANCAMS of the live. Hear it in details... every breath (the volume, the amount)... his mouth opening and closing at THE EXACT SAME TIME from the beginning until the end... the neck, adam's apple, tongue, etc. Even in the rehearsal he added more adlibs in the end. I dont understand why some people need to go around to every reaction speaking in glory that he lipsyncs while he DIDNT. 😥😥

The answer is yes, it's live. It's just that sometimes Dimash sings so perfectly that one wonders if such beauty can be achieved in only one performance. However, Dears who have been at his concerts assure us he sings live. Also, he has said that he would rather not sing than lipsync because he wouldn't want to disappoint the many people who have paid loads for tickets, just to find out that it's pre-recorded. Compare the rehearsal and the LIVE fancams (not the TV version because it's not as clear) The amount of "breathing" is not the same. Just pay attention closely to TINY details. He is talking about the technique... about how he is opening his jaw to produce some sounds, etc (Why doing that if it's a lipsync? 😅)

1. The russians said that they noticed different pronunciations in rehearsal and the live. So it wasn't the same. 2. If you listen closely... there was a reverb effect. Dimash did an amazing cover of "Sinful Passion". The original version (by A'STUDIO) was a nice pop/rock ballad [although the A'Studio video makes me wonder why during the lead guitar solo, he's not even playing the guitar - he's just holding it). Dimash, as usual, really turned it into something unique, and gave it a sultry and passionate sensation, bringing the song to new heights, driping with emotion. He also included new jaw dropping vocal acrobatics, reminding listeners that you can never think that you know what to expect. These comments are a mess...He's only human people, sometimes he'll be exhausted or maybe his voice will just not fucking do its thing some days. Unfortunately this particular performance is lip synced :/. Before you all flip out just cause your fans, read the explanation and be objective. You can tell because at the end when he transitions from the super high note to the downward run it goes from an ahh vowel to “yeah” for the run. But his mouth stays positioned in the ahh vowel it never closes for the Y in yeah. For anyone who argues this open your mouth wide singing ehhh then change to yeah with a hard Y without your mouth moving at all. Not possible. Also the rehearsal of the entire song sounds EXACTLY the same. No matter how good you are there will always be slight variations even if subtle. I know I’ll get hate for this but you can be a Dimash fan without looking at everything he does blindly. He’s by far my favorite singer but no one is perfect, just about every singer out there syncs occasionally and that’s okay! I’d rather him have a long career by not straining his voice. I’m fully aware of what he is capable live so if I can admit that surely you can admit that even the greatest singers need to sync sometimes. Sometimes the decision is not even their own. Doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of doing it live. Fans are often too easily offended and can’t view things objectively lol

This is a live program and believe it or not, it is all Dimash. Sadly there are video's his fans had ;felt compelled to put on You Tube to prove it. Dimash also does not like people who lip sync because he feels they are not giving the audience what they are paying for.
He is just perfect...and all the analyses on his voice just Tech stuff...but in real life nobody can create the sounds and emotions like he does.. I said it before..I care and Artist în the World to do a cover on this...let's are what's come out...

You can see the reactions of the audience. It was a standing O! Even from the jury(s) of the competition!! They are all professionals in their field. Surely they know IF it is a lipsync. Why bother standing up? Playback can be doctored. He is not famous yet... who knows the playback is autotuned etc?
Why bother with mic checking? In Lipsync rehearsals, you only need to learn "blocking".
Why bother making a new recording just for this performance? (Recordings are not cheap) this is not like he has a CD that he can play anytime. This is the first and last time he sings this song. This song isnt his. 😑
And those who tell u that the rehearsal and live are EXACTLY the same... ugh
Compare the rehearsal and the FANCAMS of the live. Hear it in details... every breath (the volume, the amount)... his mouth opening and closing at THE EXACT SAME TIME from the beginning until the end... the neck, adam's apple, tongue, etc. Even in the rehearsal he added more adlibs in the end.
I dont understand why some people need to go around to every reaction speaking in glory that he lipsyncs while he DIDNT. 😥😥

lmao. Look for TRAent's video channel. He's a diehard Dear and yes Ike, there are many men out there lol. No offense taken at the question about whether it's live or not. The answer is yes, it's live. It's just that sometimes Dimash sings so perfectly that one wonders if such beauty can be achieved in only one performance. However, Dears who have been at his concerts assure us he sings live. Also, he has said that he would rather not sing than lipsync because he wouldn't want to disappoint the many people who have paid loads for tickets, just to find out that it's pre-recorded. I suggest you to look at the fancams too and look closely to his movement, his posture, his mouth opening and closing at the exact same time with the notes from the beginning till the end... the way he opens his mouth and jaw for certain notes.... you need to look at everything rather than just thinking "oh he "sounds" the same then it's lipsync"

do u see the hollow point in his neck when he goes very high? Do you see his throat moving when he sings? Do you see his tongue vibrating?
You can also compare the rehearsal and the official performance. This video is back to back. You can hear the differences. Especially at the end. The LIVE stopped abruptly while in the rehearsal Dimash did some ad libs until the very end.

P.s. his "war and peace" in his concerts sound the same too. But we all know that his concerts are all LIVE. No lipsync. So he is capable of creating the same sound.

Great analysis, doubters will always doubt :) it's okay as it's hard to believe a human can sing so good that his live performance is just as good as recorded version if not better! and he is consistent whether he is rehearsing or doing the actual performance he sounds just as good.

1. The russians said that they noticed different pronunciations in rehearsal and the live. So it wasn't the same.
2. If you listen closely... there was a reverb effect. You won't have it if it's a playback

Dimash did an amazing cover of "Sinful Passion". The original version (by A'STUDIO) was a nice pop/rock ballad [although the A'Studio video makes me wonder why during the lead guitar solo, he's not even playing the guitar - he's just holding it).
Dimash, as usual, really turned it into something unique, and gave it a sultry and passionate sensation, bringing the song to new heights, driping with emotion. He also included new jaw dropping vocal acrobatics, reminding listeners that you can never think that you know what to expect. This was an absolutely brilliant performance that made the song feel completely new again.

Unfortunately this particular performance is lip synced :/.
Before you all flip out just cause your fans, read the explanation and be objective. You can tell because at the end when he transitions from the super high note to the downward run it goes from an ahh vowel to “yeah” for the run. But his mouth stays positioned in the ahh vowel it never closes for the Y in yeah. For anyone who argues this open your mouth wide singing ehhh then change to yeah with a hard Y without your mouth moving at all. Not possible. Also the rehearsal of the entire song sounds EXACTLY the same. No matter how good you are there will always be slight variations even if subtle.
I know I’ll get hate for this but you can be a Dimash fan without looking at everything he does blindly. He’s by far my favorite singer but no one is perfect, just about every singer out there syncs occasionally and that’s okay! I’d rather him have a long career by not straining his voice. I’m fully aware of what he is capable live so if I can admit that surely you can admit that even the greatest singers need to sync sometimes. Sometimes the decision is not even their own. Doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of doing it live.
Fans are often too easily offended and can’t view things objectively lol
Listen more. Talk less.
