    To the people who think they know what they're talking about. Number one he DOESN'T hurt his UKIS. Number two if he neglects to use a bit of discomfort in his technique how would he or ANYONE else believe in the efficacy of it ? Number two you must train realistically within reason. Number three in combat JJ and Kempo jutsu we make contact period. This is why we don't flinch and it builds character and toughness. I've been watching this human Cobra for decades. He's the freaking man as are ALL Docs students. Professor Powell lives on. Ous and respect sir. Each one teach one. 🐅

    I'm no martial artist. Grew up in 1960s Harlem, N.Y. As a youth, and on to adulthood we slap-boxed, and body-punched. Hard. I don't understand the complaints about Sensi. He's training warriors, defenders. You tenderoni cats quit your bloodclat crying.

      Newark NJ 60’s and 70’s slap boxing and wrestling on the street tackle football with no equipment in vacant lots, cuts and bruises tempered the body and the spirit.

    Yall have NEVER TRAINED!!! The slap was NOTHING. lol hard sparring is WAAAAAY tougher.
    Martial Artists don't gripe about getting smacked, kicked, punched, or thrown while learning. No lie.

      How do you know what we have done? I've sparred and been in fights (won them), never needed a slap to be "street ready".
      If I missed a Block and got hit, that's one thing. Yet telling someone to drop their hands, slap them and then say "keep your hands up"
      GTFOH!

      I disagree the student felt every bit of that at 0:33.. and I come from a hardcore wrestling background. I got cross face once by my coach, and i blacked out... but I was never humiliated... and wrestling is a style... this is for the cameras no doubt... He could have him worn head gear

      I'm with you, it's silly, just spar in front of cameras if you want to show your lightning fast hands and the importance of keeping your hands up. You see this in cults, and in styles that don't do contact sparring, or grappling. He literally placed his hero worshipping student in a vulnerable position, told him to drop his hands, closed into face to face range and slapped him in front of the crowd. I've been in the arts for decades, been in different boxing and kickboxing gyms to include inner city gyms, no coach worth anything slaps his students full force like that in a demo. never saw it in a traditional hardcore bareknuckle dojo, TKD school, Kung Fu Kwoon if you're that comfortable hitting people get in the cage or go to BJJ and make money... Or not.

    • @deejin25
      @deejin25 3 года назад +3

      I don't trust any "Master" that slaps his students like in public. It's more like a cult loyalty test than a useful training or demonstration method. At that point he should just spar in front of the crowd with someone his own weight and skill class. Just spar.
