Is it better to use one type of rice over another? In bengal, we use parboiled rice. The probiotic is not made of the starch but water which is added to leftover rice overnight. The next morning, the water is consumed and the rice eaten. this method also prevents the rice from spoiling.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge. It gives a good insight. I tried with brown rice (matta rice) starch and chilly crowns but I started getting some sort of slight rotten smell after two days with a sour taste. Is this how it would be or did I do something wrong? Thanks in advance.
@@Shrekanth Thanks for your prompt response. It seemed to be something wrong on my first try because of the cold weather since I live in the US. Now I have been following carefully all the steps and I have started covering the glass jar with a thin cotton cloth and leaving it for 2 to 3 days. It's getting fermented perfectly now. I have started topping up the new rice water with the existing fermented rice water and subsequently, it goes in cycles. I was looking for a good probiotic drink for a very long time. You have resolved my quest by showing me the BEST probiotic drink. Thank you and appreciate all your efforts to enlighten the people. God Bless!

Am having Flatulent problem n my gut is really bad. Want to make probiotic drink after seeing your videos . am glad I got to know you Anna . Thank you 😊
Cut vendaikkai into small pieces, leave out the crown. Soak the pieces in limited amount of water for 8- 10 hrs ..And the entire bowl becomes slimy liquid ..There s ur starter ready
There's another update ...Actually ...Remove the jelly substance once..And again refill with water again..Leave it for another 12 hrs or whole night ... This water has to be taken it seems.. in another vdo he said the above statement
I failed in black rice startch fermentation. So did it with white rice starch yesterday with chilli crowns n fenugreek seeds. How will I know that I prepared a good probiotic drink ? Will there be bubbles ?? Any smell ? Or when will I know the process is success ?? 😊 thanks in advance

10 ml to 200 ml per day..break it and have it.
just check out yakult ml container and have as per that quantity.

@@Senthellkk Happy to know. Also when you use mattarisi soak it for a minimum 6-8 hours before cooking to neutralize the phytochemicals in the grain.
