The Definitive Kildownet Half Set - Figure 2 - Polkas

The second figure is demonstrated by Eamonn Gannon (first top man, wearing glasses) with Margaret Joyce of Westport opposite Seamus Hughes of Derradda with his sister Mary, all local set dancers. Eamonn, from Cloughmore Achill (next village to Kildownet), got the set from his grandmother and some of more senior members of the community back in the late 1980's. So Eamonn is the original source of set and hence this is the definitive video showing how it should be danced.
Note the similarity between this and the second figure of the Derradda Set.
