Yeah sorry about the loud annoying music. I made a song to put in this video and someone stole it 6 months after I published this video and claimed it as theirs. Beyond music (the prolific music thiefs) are known to taking others work and claiming it is theirs. I have contemplated on taking this video down since it is ruined anyway. Also, I have found that they are again getting cloudy because there is no UV protection on them. With my Pontiac Aztek, I did something different and sanded it with 1000 grit and then directly topcoat with Meguiars headlight coating. This is proving to be the ticket as they look great after a summer. And, none of the polishing with the buffer. I recommend this method. Thanks for watching.

Did you put a UV protectant on these? How are they fairing a year later?

I just used pure carnauba wax that I use for mold release. They are still great. I have a few Solstice videos coming soon. I will show you then. There are a few different clear coats people are using now. I would try one of those but afraid of the peeling. Thanks for watching. More content coming!

My tail light are swirly... can they be restored in a similar fashion?

That should be fine. May want to start with 1000g and move up from there. Headlights have a UV clearcoat on them that needs to be removed/blended. Thank you for being a long time subscriber! I really appreciate it.

Can I put a ev engine in this

I have seen a few with v8's. Since it is front engine, rear drive, you would need an electric motor to mate to the 5 speed transmission. There are people out there doing EV conversions using tesla power, but that would be for more of a transverse engine situation where you have a motor/transaxle. I have seen electric motors in just about everything these days!

No, converting it to EV would be a stupid idea.

      Fun fact: EVs are TERRIBLE
