- Hi guys! In this video, we gonna review and drive a soviet jeep LuAZ 969m. This car was released in 1982 and purchased by our family in 2011 for 1800$. They introduced me to very traditional Ukrainian ways and culture and food. Sadly all my grandparents passed away . I’m ashamed to say I have stuck to very little or almost no Ukrainian traditions. My children are now teenagers and I would like to teach them or at least introduce them to Ukrainian culture. I hope you keep making videos.! Thank you so much 🌸

I remember enjoying riding in my guidos 4x4 and walking around his farm in Canada. My family are Canadian immigrants and it was a fun time to put on old coveralls to tromp around. Simple life is stress free. ♥️

Same here in western Europe. I would give up all my luxury here just to live in a remote area, a simple house with some land around it, a good fireplace in the house and a dog that guards the place.

You should do grocery store shopping video - people in USA and elsewhere will be amazed at different types of milk, cheese, butter.. sausages and meats, and fresh bread!

Reminds me of my service in the U.S. Army in Alaska. The Army had some old trucks that actually ran really well. It was fun driving through the snow. 🐾🤍

what a fun video...Jack riding shotgun, and after seeing the outtake at the end of the video, Luba actually driving the vehicle better than yourself Pavlo...also when you slammed the car door, and it still wasn't closed, I burst out laughing...I have owned similar vehicles, and watching this bought back fond memories
Love this! Pavlo and the dog are just rolling down the road in this jalopy, both of them alert and ready to jump out at any moment, then Luba takes the wheel and everbody chill.
This is a joke here in America among dog lovers, where the dog rides in the seat, and the girlfriend is in back.
And, it is funny, you don't worry about the car heater making it warm inside, or it will melt your skating rink on the floor boards. You two are fun to watch.
It would take a heck of a heater to warm up a vehicle with 2" gaps around the doors and no back window.

Pavlo, lots of people would envy you about this car. Its a working car, simple build with not much electronics nobody need in reality for such a car. simple to repair I guess. It's fun car so far. When I saw Jack took over the passenger seat I immediately know that Luba has to take place on the cheaper place in the back :-D All the dogs are the same. Once they found their seat they will never give up again. He is a nice guy. Yeeaaah, Luba go on. Thats the right car for driving exercises. Dont think you will crash the machine, the gears, the transmisson. Wow, Jack is nice and shared his seat with Luba. Well the dogs need to look outside enjoying a car ride.
Luba, I wouldn't lean back on that tailgate if I were you! Great video, loved it! Life always looks so refreshingly simple, on your channel. Hope you keep it going. I can't get enough!

I love old Russian vehicles, especially the Lada Niva. Some people dream of owning a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, no, I dream of owning a Lada Niva. I also like the Buhankas, and the ZIL trucks. Very fun to watch, the look on Jack's face says he doesn't trust your driving; too fast?. Maybe a seat belt would make him more confident in you. The Luaz, no airbags, no seat belts, no fuel injection - just all fun!

Back in the 1980’s they sold Lada Niva 4x4 in Canada. I bought one. It was fun.

Luba, you did good that vehicle would be one of the harder ones as your father says.
She did so good for the 1st time driving manual stick shift! My 1st car (my dad gave me) was a 1972 VW Bug. I’m 40 now BUT this was in 2001, I was like 19 and had no idea how to drive it! My husband now but boyfriend then taught me as well, and to this day still holds on for dear life when driving with me! Lol love the chemistry between you and Luba! May you have many beautiful days to come! And many beautiful babies! I have 5! They are AWESOME!

I’ve never heard of that vehicle before, had to look it up. It’s got a unique combination of features - v4 engine - air cooled, portal axles, locking differentials. Only a 71 inch wheelbase. Should be an amazing off road vehicle. You could have taken it on more difficult roads, but I can understand you might want to do that in warmer weather with a friend along. And/or you might not want to break a 39 year old vehicle. Anyway thanks for introducing me to the LuAZ 969M
I was wondering what engine it had. Sounded like a 2 stroke 2 cyl. Maybe it was only hitting on 2. Lol. Wouldn't mind having one.
It has 4 cyl, but sometimes there are misfire in some of them:))
don't know about off roading. unless you duct tape it together 2:14
@@pavlofromukraine also air cooled engines sound different from water cooled. I was thinking it sounded a bit like a Beetle. Or maybe a Porsche Speedster ;-)

Pavlo and wife you can be happy I live in Belgium and here you can no longer just obey what the great gentlemen tell you!! Crossing in the woods is still possible in my village, but I am a 71-year-old man and I have also known a better life in the past!! Crossing in the woods with an old moped for a few cents we had fun all afternoon!! But now you can only come on the constructed roads and paths, when I look at your country and see that there is so much vacancy in houses and buildings, I would actually like to move to a place where you can still live Basic, I can handle myself very well and recently started baking my own bread in a discarded Grill.
But the language is a stumbling block, a few years ago I also had an idea to move to Hungary, but due to a problem it didn't happen.. I can live a pretty basic life I'm retired and I'm busy with fun things to do such as cycling and now baking bread I don't watch TV much, music makes me happier than the TV. And all the news we don't even know if the news is real or fake! I don't believe everything that is said!! I know a little bit of Russian because I printed out the alphabet and can decipher words and I look a lot at your experiences and those of the LIS girls who roam around Pripyat and make beautiful documentaries.
I have already seen a lot of Chernobyl and the surroundings of the disaster in 1986 I was not even allowed to eat vegetables from my allotment garden.
There was a high risk of radiation throughout Europe.

Classic Soviet vehicle, beat all to hell and still runs. Looks like the heater doesn't work and then I realized it has an air cooled engine so heat has to come off an exchanger from the exhaust and that might not be functional, just like they sometimes were broken in the old air cooled Volkswagen Beetles. I live on the Texas Gulf coast so don't have snow to deal with, thank goodness!
