and the Culture of asian/Eastern nations makes their food naturally less processed than others, I experienced this a lot when I lived in Egypt for a while on vacation (my home country)

5:05 that is a complete lie. Thailand's military government basically in an attempt to create national unity (or nationalism if you dislike that kinda stuff) created foods that were sort of blends of stuff from different regions. They also sponsor thai restaurants in other countries to create awareness of thailand to boast tourism, and these restaurants have a strict set of dishes they can make. This is why so many thai restaurants have similar menus. I'm pretty sure wendover productions did a video on this.
