I’ve watched several videos on this and I’ve come to the sad conclusion that Dior has ruined my most trusted summer foundation. She was bulletproof without powder baby! Looking like skin ALL THE DAY LONG!! They murdered her….😢
I have been wearing it the last few days...it wears off after about 6 hours. I personally would have just dropped a new finish and not replaced the old. Lets make some noise!
Catching up on your older videos. I am happy that the reformulated foundation did not differ at the end. I was so sure it would by how dewy it was when first applied. Your skin looked radiant. I loved the eye look you created with the Cosmos!
Thanks for the review. The new one's typeface is in all caps (DIOR) versus only the first letter (Dior) capitalized on the old one. I'm glad they did that to distinguish the two. I hear they did slightly lighten the shades in the new version. People are saying the new one has no scent, whereas the old one did have a slight one (it doesn't bother me). It's nowhere near as strong as MUFE's old foundation scents.
I'm so disappointed. I kinda knew they would ruin it. I agree with you that it performs almost the same, but I can feel the difference on my face. I need to set this while I didn't need to set the original. And why did they have to make it dewey? I produce dew on my own. It does look gorgeous, but it forces me to powder and blot and I am not happy with it as with the original
No idea what the old version was as I never tried it, but I like the new one as I live in the UK not much of a summer here for now and not that humid either so it kind of works on my combo oily skin, it probably won’t when it’s going to be very hot and I get sweaty 😂
Do they still sell the original? It’s my favorite and the only liquid foundation that my 42 y/o self can wear. Living in south FL, I can’t wear heavy or tons of products due to the high temps and crazy humidity. Matte products are the only thing I can wear that doesn’t accentuate my texture and wrinkles from my refusal to wear sunscreen for the first 36 years of life.
It might not be the ac it might be the position of the air ducts. My room is the hottest in the house and finally someone went up into the attic and found out the air duct to my room is positioned in a way that the air pools up there instead of going into the room…would take thousands to change 😢
This comment had me thinking for days that I need my company to come over and check the position of the vents. Lol. I think ill have to have them come because I think its a valid point!!
